You can go on holiday there, but it's still restrictive and you have to have a guide take you around (also it's obscenely expensive). The only way I can imagine getting a job and permanent residence there must be some sort of vital environmental work.

Yep, you can. You can be a teacher, environmental expert, landscape architect. My ex-partner is a landscape architect. She worked there for several months before coming to the UK. Then she met me. Gosh..! ;)

She's somewhat of a rarity then!

There can't be many schools in that tiny country. I reckon the environmental approach would be the best way to get in.

Bhutan might be a good place to go on a sabbatical for a bit, but to start a new life across the ocean and leave the all the ****e of the past behind.... I can think of not many choices better than the the good ol' US of A.

When I was in America, I stayed at this girl's house and her best friend from school came to visit. When coming to visit your best friend, what would you bring? How about an entire arsenal of guns of various sizes? 'Twas fun though.

I'd possibly get a gun if I lived in America.

Exactly! I mean, we've all seen Love Actually, right?

I've seen it in person too. Though you know that scene where the girls just keep asking him to say things? That never ends. And they'll try and mimic you. They're oddly fascinated by it.

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with owning a gun just for target shooting. It's no different to owning bow. Obviously, you've got to be extremely careful with how you use it or store it but as a recreational activity, it's quite an enjoyable past time.

So get a ****ing air rifle, or a BB gun. I'm an Americaphile and even I think gun ownership is really, really stupid

Yeah I doubt air rifles or BB guns are really the same, I doubt they'd have the same feel as a gun. I don't think it's inherently stupid, but you do get stupid people owning guns but 99% of people are sensible, diligent gun owners. I'd endeavour to be the latter!

Though I do think guns should be very very carefully regulated.

If you're going to a firing range you don't even need your own gun.

They shouldn't be regulated to the public at all.
