Just get the free buses. I will be on the metro hopefully, although I don't want to leave my dad alone on the bus. Get treated like **** on the trains though, you have to make sure you are with the bulk of NUFC fans or you don't get an escort. Buses are the easiest though, great craic as well.

The coach takes longer to get to London but saves you time on changing onto the underground and going to Upton Park. It's a lot cheaper too.

I wouldn't say it was. £30 for bus? Train could cost him £15.90 if he has Railcard and is on the ball when booking train.

Hmmm, can't grumble at that then. Still good to travel with like minded people though. It's all regs that go on the coaches and you get to know everybody.

True. My long legs couldn't deal with a coach for 7 hours though. Just wish Sky would hurry up with fixtures so we can book QPR.

What time did the buses leave last time? I got told you have to sit on for ages while the police talk to you.

Leaves about 2 n a half hours before kick off. Police have a word with you but only for a minute. The ride in is slow but funny, with songs etc...and then you arrive at the SOS, fans waiting for you, you go around most of the ground to get to the coach park so you get to abuse loads of them.

I'll hopefully be going to as many as I can in the North West area, and then a couple of home games
Money permitting of course, I'll get on it whenever I can afford it! <ok>

I shall be going to all the home games, when I was interviewed for my job I was asked what days I would be unable to work, (I'm in retail) I said I have a season ticket but there were a few days last season where I was still on the rota to work a match day. The manager more or less leaves you to swap shifts with colleagues if you have commitments. I am working absolute rubbish shifts at the moment so I wont feel bad if I ask somebody to swap with me. I admire the commitment of those of you who can be at both home and away games, but it is my intention to get to a couple of away games this season. Swansea but have been nice, but I'm sure somebody said it was the Easter weekend making it a bit more tricky.

As was the case last season, I'll be in Leeds for the majority of the year so i'll try and get to about 4/5 games, most likely Fulham, Swansea, Man U, Bolton and Stoke, as that is likely to be when I am back in Newcastle!

I'll be going to Man U away as it's on my birthday, then possibly a couple of the other North West Away games (Bolton/Blackburn/Wigan etc) - never been to an away game before so looking forward to it. I'll go to home games when I'm up visiting family, probably over Christmas, and I'm definitely going to the Leeds away friendly because I can walk to elland rd from my house!

I will see you there then.

What pisses me off about the FA Cup, is the amount of people that don't turn up to cup games, and then demand a ticket for the final, and as is the case most of the time, people who have attended all FA Cup games, don't get a ticket for the final.
