Barcelona have blown hot and cold. Real are missing their match winner. It could go either way, but I have a feeling this will be another excuse for a Messi lovefest. Could be the only trophy Barca win so they may want it more. For Real, the likes of Di Maria, Benzema and Modric will have to be at their absolute best to make up for Ronaldo's absence. At the back, Pepe and Ramos will need to keep the goals down as I don't think Real can outscore Barca otherwise.
Yeah i know but he's got 19 goals this season, which is fantastic, considering the fact that he had no pre-season.
He's had a very good first season and hasn't looked out of his depth at all. Just in the two games I've seen him against Barca, he either seems subdued, or the Barca players have had the measure of him - not sure which is which but he needs to play his natural game against them and not the occasion.
This game is so hard to call, Barca and Messi are in poor form by there own high standards, and Real are without Ronaldo. If your having a bet on the game I'd go with Real as there the bigger price of the 2. It looks a 50/50 to me
So you can watch clubs that don't park the bus in big games like utd always do. 28 per cent possession v Bayern... Give us back the route master
Real will be parking the bus tonight and counter attacking, I doubt they'll try and take Barca on, they never do, as they know how strong Barca are on the ball. Real are also a very fast team even without Ronaldo, so it makes sense to play on the break against Barca
The problem for Real is that someone is going to have to make those runs into the box instead of Ronaldo to create space for Benzema. Unless Bale does that, I really can't see who else will provide that. Just a shame that Jese is out. Isco needs to step up.
