    I never watched the original series, so I decided to download the first 3 series and have a mega TV weekend, only problem now is I have to wait for each week for the new programme, same with Vikings. I now have the first 7 series of 24 to watch though

    Anyone heard of the Nike Academy...apparently it's a pro set up at the England centre, St George's Park. Our u21s just lost 3-1 to them in a friendly.

    Not keen. It'll just amplify the differences, exploit them, and people will feel aggrieved by it. I don't watch TV though, so I'll never see it.

    Talking of immigration, I discovered today that once your a qualified teacher, you can get a scholarship to teach for 2 weeks in an American school.

    That's going to substantially help Operation Emigrate to America.

    Just make sure you keep squeaky clean...a woman in her forties I know nearly had to abort a holiday in Florida for a minor offence when eighteen.

    Well the sun is getting low, the kids going nuts in the garden and I'm sat with the wife at the bottom of the garden. She's having a lager (from Wigan!) and I am enjoying one if the bottles I found in the supermarket yesterday.... a bottle of Old Thumper from Ringwood Brewery. Mmmmm

    I used to live near the brewery and drive passed it nearly every day on my way home to Christchurch. What a wonderful beer!
