Rodgers plan was his 180 page dossier and power point presentation on tiki taka.

He implemented it last season and they were ****e.

Stevie Me La wasn't having it and they're now playing far more direct and using pace in behind, none of which was part of his 'plan'.

He got lucky with the signing of Sturridge imo, the rest of his signings, barring Coutinho have been absolute mince.

He'll get all the plaudits should they win the league this season and maybe they'll be deserved, but personally I still think he's a fraud who'll get found out in the fullness of time.

Tobes doesn't realise that it's possible for Rodgers to have a Plan B and even a Plan C and D.

I'm guessing he thinks Rodgers had to strictly stick to his Plan A

Managers get stick for not having a plan B, but Tobes is giving Rodgers stick for using a plan B - Priceless <laugh>

Sign of a good manager. When something you were trying out fails- you learn from your mistake and try something different. Especially good on Rodgers since he was commited to 180 pages- and tore it up when he realised it was wrong.

How many other managers are brave enough to do that?

It would be rather foolish to keep trying a plan that didn't work. Or would you recommend to Rodgers that he goes back to Tiki Taka since that was his original plan Tobes? Is that what you would do?

StevieG and his disciples were not good enough technicals to action tikka takka. Henderson is hardly iniesta is he??

So they play good old 442 long balls to SAS. Apparently this is the most exciting football going!

Give me tika taka any day.

Do you think this will work when they play CL? I'm not so sure. They are knackered after the first half in the prem. Will they be able to play up and at em footie Saturday Wednesday Saturday week in week out?
