Anyone else watching this compelling series from Norway on More 4, certainly lives up to the Nordic Noir that catagorised The Bridge etc. Episode 4 is on this Friday at 9pm and previous episodes are on 4od. Think BBC4 missed a trick in not picking up this one for its Saturday Night overseas drama slot.......
Yes thanks Tramore, bit of a slow starter but livened up nicely now. I'm curious to know how good the sub-titles on these programmes are. When I watch French stuff I notice that the conversations contain quite a bit that doesn't appear in the sub-titles. That said, sub-titles seem to have improved a lot in recent years.
Not noticed this one Tramore. I've been trying to close out the remaining series of the Sopranos. Is it any good?
Wubs it's like most of the Nordic series, takes a little while to get up to speed with the plot plus they keep on adding charactors that have nothing to do with the storey....but it is dark and in some instances quite harrowing, but it maintains standards.... Only problem I have found is that the subtitles disappear from screen a little too quick and those bloody adverts every 10 minutes or so, other than that it is good TV.....
Great line from Stewart Lee on Breaking Bad "No I haven't watched it. Why would I need to watch hundreds of hours of TV about a well educated man supporting his family by doing something he knows to be beneath him?"
