I really like Livermore, but I think a fair fee would be around the figure first quoted (3m?). Of course, Spurs could have sell on clauses or whatever in case he progresses beyond his potential.

Anything over 5/6m, we shouldn’t pay, although as stated, I wouldn’t expect us to.

Maybe, the new boss at Spurs might be happy to loan him again for a season?

I wouldn't worry if we didn't get him - I trust Bruce to find an excellent alternative if required.

 

Jake's been very good and I'd love to keep hold of him. But players like him can be replaced.

The original prices quoted for him always seemed on the low side. 5+ million would be a far from unreasonable.

 

How long has Jake got left on his contract at spurs ?
Never mind us matching any other offers they get, there is nothing to stop him digging his heals in and telling levy is Hull City or nothing.

sure that Steve Bruce ,stated in a press conference at the start of the season, that provided we stay up a deal for Livermore was in place for 3.5million.

 

What about Gary Medel when Cardiff go down?

 

I'll keep on banging on but Sidwell would be a great signing. Strong, solid defensively and likes getting forward. He'd be perfect alongside Thudd. He's a free in June.
