Who should we target from Villa if they go down though.........?<laugh>

If we lose Mutch for £2.5m I'd be gutted/surprised/tamping in equal measure.

I'd like to see Gary Shaw, Dennis Mortimore and Tony Morley down the City next season plus that young Mark Walters looks quite talented.

Don't think anyone knows what to call you any more red/blue whatever. But no mention of Marshall there. By far your best player.

Regarded by most pundits as the best keeper in the PL this season, he has to be £8-10m. Nearer £15m if a side like Spurs want him.

Marshall will go on to bigger and better things. I'd be amazed if a top 6 club didn't come in for him.

Spurs are the only ones who really need a keeper imo and not just because Lloris is throwing his toys about CL football. He's a liability, I've lost count of the number of times his mental decision making has cost them goals this season. They'd have beaten Brom easily if they had a decent keeper.

Liverpool, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Everton, Utd would all consider themselves sorted in terms of number 1 keeper.

who cares……… we don't have to sell anyone so whoever goes it will be for good money. £6.2m for caulker gave me a laugh but in all seriousness i suspect quite a few will have release clauses, depends how high they are…….

Sweetblue - it's on the cards, but we'll leave him for the moment unless one of the other guys wants to react to your suggestion - I'd have no problem with that.

As you say, he brings nothing with him to the forum, other than the image of a spotty faced nerd giggling behind a keyboard.

Villa can have Tommy Smith plus Filip Kiss and Velikonja when their loan spells end. No charge.

I would also include roofjack as his comments are equally inane and pointless, but nothing changes with him.
