This has to be one of the most moronic, poorly thought out, badly timed, ridiculous pieces of financial stupidity that I have ever seen.

I don't know how this person has come to reconcile the word supporter with his actions or how he came to his conclusions that seem to me to be dubious in the extreme. All I can do is list the assumptions he has made, for which he has no evidence whatsoever.

    1. That Arsenal are not spending as much as they can. The evidence would show that with the second largest debt in world football, that they are.
    2. That Arsenal will not pay the money for the top players. The evidence would show that when Ozil was affordable and willing to join, the fee was paid.
    3. That the Arsenal Board are taking money that could be spent on players. The evidence would show that in terms of money leaving the club, the Arsenal board take significantly less out of the club than even their original cash investment would garner in a regular savings account.

This is really the most evil side of the Arsenal conspiracy theorists, but I for the life of me can't fathom how they became so convinced that Arsenal should simply be able to reel off invincible season after season without any great difficulty.

Having pointed out the size of the debt in earlier posts, and shown how it compares to just 4 years of Chelsea transfer fee spending, I cant even imagine how this man could be so desperately far out of touch with reality on the scale of the finances involved. This is perhaps the single bright spot of the pathetic episode, there is absolutely no chance that anything this guy does, doing anything to even scratch the surface of the financial situation.

And that is perhaps the problem; his misconception is at least entirely consistent; he is well-intentioned I suppose, but the numbers are so incomprehensibly large, he just isn't anywhere remotely near realism.

'Evil', really? Misguided, foolhardy, misdirected perhaps, but not evil.

Opposite of good, when used in a moral sense. You shouldn't try to hurt people, particularly when you don't have any good reason, but even if you do.

This may come as a surprise to you but ...

Cut out the abuse please. I'm not letting this thread descend into a slanging match between you and TT, or anybody else.
