    This.
Our midfield was so unbalanced for the first half of the season until Matic came in.
Coupled with the fact that we have a has been, an OAP and a nearly man who wasnt given a chance as our three front options, finishing in the top 3 and challenging two teams that have strike forces made up of Aguero, Dzeko, Suarez and Sturridge has been a miracle really.
We should be where Arsenal are. (ie 10 points off the pace and out of the race) but we aint.

With a striker and a whole season of Matic next year.......watch out! (We'll still probably defend you all to death knowing Jose, but we win a lot of matches :p)

But with decent strikers and Matic's through balls we will create more and be more clinical. 90 goals, 90 points pls.

Hazard Schurrle and Salah will all be better next season too with a decent CF. They could get 10-15 goals each

That "unbalanced team" excuse is getting old.

An excuse created in case the special one doesn't win anything this season so everyone can point to that if Rafa actually did a better job without spending a cent and arriving only after the club were knocked out of the CL.

If Jose wins nothing this season, then face up to it, Rafa did a better job in his 3\4 of a season tenure than Jose did with a summer to prepare, significant money to spend, a whole season and unconditional ball licking from the chavs.

Dont talk rubbish, until we signed Matic, our CM was very unbalanced. Mikel, Ramires and Lampard........2 of those 3 do not make a balanced central midfield.

Love how people are all obsessed with Chelsea maybe not winning anything this season and think we are making excuses lol
I never thought we would win the league for one second with the squad we had at the start of the season and neither did Jose and has said from jump street.
I know Liverpool fans may jizz their pants at the thought of winning the league now you are so close, but dont tar everyone else with the same ******ed brush.

The Chelsea fans think they have it in the bag next season - Watch out for Liverpool is all I can say <ok>

No doubt we'll strengthen in certain areas and with our attacking flair and pace, we'll be a match for anyone. I see another 3 horse race next season between City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

It can only happen if the ******ed scousers win the title this season. The last few occasions they came close they fell apart the next few seasons. It also depends on whether their racist player stays or not. <ok>

Do you think Utd will finish higher than 6/7th next season? I don't.

'The last few occasions' were different, this time we have a great manager, great owners and have a young squad you could only dream of Christian. Add some more talent to that and the Sky is the limit <ok>

I take it you mean Suarez when referring to 'the racist'...??? If so I suggest looking up the difference between being a racist and making a racist remark. Completely different. Plus he'll stay for another season with us in the CL - whilst enjoying the decline of Utd like everyone else involved with Liverpool.

If we don't win the title, we'll be challenging again next season - you just can't get your head round the fact Utd are in rapid decline yet Liverpool are on the up. Face the facts Christian, and don't let the RAGE get the better of you <ok>

P.S. How are the anger management sessions going buddy?

I am cool man. no problem. But are you? you seem a bit upset by the truth <laugh>

The racist may or may not stay as City and Real may or may not come calling. If they do, he'll go. He feels no loyalty to the ******ed scousers, especially if they do not win the title. If they do win that title, he may well stay and you could challenge again. Without him I cannot see the RS challenging for the title again...<ok>

PS: As for the decline, I was expecting it and I am cool with it. I know some of fans here find it difficult to accept...<ok>

You'll have European football next season so next year will not be your year.

We'll have a full season of Matic hopefully, plus Schurrle and Salah in full flight. And you never know, we may neven have a striker too. I'm hoping we'll dominate from matchday one next season

Yep some of us do find it difficult to accept absolute ****e.

f**king insane if you do though. Good luck with that one.

Lets ask others. Sky.... did you accept Hodgeson because you had some good years previously? I imagine you just sat back, arms behind your head, pack of zig zags at the ready as you just chillaxed while your tea m became a laughing stock. I have no doubt you did this and that it made you a proper fan while those pesky plastics were calling for his head.

How dare anyone ever question someone who is failing. What a f**king world. All companies, all organisations, the whole f**king world should be ran by morons who cant do the job. thats how things should be because we are all special ( needs gimps? )....

Or maybe not. Sky, was the decision to remove a failing manager ( or 2 ) the right one. would you be better off now with Hodgeson?

You quote the wrong example here. Hodgson was replaced by Dogleaish who was himself not good enough. Did anyone call for Dogleash head? VERY FEW did!

And to regarding tikitaka Rodgers, many fans have been calling for his head when he finished 8th. Bet the ******ed scousers are glad they didn't sack him and stuck with him ...!

I never wanted Hodgson and was ashamed that our club bought in such a fool to manage our club. I did support him and I gave him time to prove me wrong, which he didn't. So yes I wanted rid of him - a decision I was happy to live with.

Removing Woy and Kenny (although Kenny was only bought in on a short contract to steady the ship, which to be fair he did, and won a trophy in the process) was good for the club long term. We needed a manger that was fresh, and had an idea of what he wanted - and Rodgers came in and said how he wanted to play and how this would be achieved - So I was pleased with this appointment as he gave us an indication of what to expect. Yes his first season wasn't the best, but the change in football was definitely starting to show.

Now he's in his 2nd season - what he said he wanted to happen is happening (plus some). So Rodgers for me was the perfect appointment, he came in with a plan and told the fans what his plan was, he implemented the plan and has now proved to be a very astute manager and one that could possibly be with us for 20+ years.

Whereas with regards to Moyes and Utd - he didn't come in with any plan, he didn't let the fans know what to expect, and to be honest he didn't have a clue what he was doing.

So to answer your question 'Was the decision to remove a failing manager the correct one?' - Of course it ****ing was. And by using us as an example of this, just shows Moyes should be replaced - as he is a failing manager.

If my manager at work was failing and the business was in decline - he would be removed. Simple as that.

Exactly Sky. If you fail then good ****ing bye.

Why do some struggle to grasp this simple concept and think Moyes should get special treatment.

Im still waiting for one single reason as to why Moyes deserves to remain in the job. Not one moyes supporter has come up with one yet.

Rodgers had a plan. He obviously had a mess to clean up from previous managers but once done well..... have a look at them.

Because we are Man United, we are special, we don't want to become like Chelsea. We do things the United way.

And we think what worked 27 years ago, will still work now. It will, won't it? Won't it? The Man United way.

    We're Man United.

That's the funny part - these fans that keep saying keep Moyes in or he should be given a few years etc etc etc etc. Cannot think of one single reason to back their false beliefs up <laugh>

They're just sheep that think by wanting to remove a manager makes you a plastic - what a load of bollox. How can wanting the best for your club make you a plastic? Just complete bollox by some deluded fans.

I've even heard one nutcase suggesting that Utd should give MOYES £300mil to rebuild - that is the most crazy thing Utd could do, it could potentially destroy your club. People need to face the facts and admit Moyes is a complete pleb that is well and truly out of his depth.

At United they are used to longevity, well they may have to get used to hiring and firing until they get the right one. Tough
