On second thoughts, the real reason is that they have a habit of spoiling good threads (see Carrabuh's thread). No amount of ignoring solves that unfortunately.

I can rapidly see the forum dying under a lead mountain of their inane dribblings. Got to be stopped! Think it's my God-given mission, actually

Rob, tbf I could have been over your board like a rash over the past 3 weeks over the whole hughton debarcle, but i didn't out of respect for you guys to get over the hurt and have a sensible debate on your clubs next move.

These forums, while having sensible debate about your clubs is also about other clubs fans getting together to have a bit of a giggle about each other and isn't meant to be taken so serious as turning in bleating about banning people on every single bloody post!

Getting back to the thread I think that if Norwich can withstand the first 25/30 minute attacking onslaught they will have a chance. Liverpool have pace in abudence and Sterling will want to play between the lines so it will be up to Yobo/Bassong/Turner to close down the space and not leave any space in behind. Gerrard will be the orchestrartor with his sublime ability to be able to ping 40/50 yard passes and drop them into Suarez. With Henderson out thye two options Liverpool have in Midfield are Allen or Lucas who will both be looking to close down the Norwich midfield at every opportunity. Norwich's most potent threat will come through Snodgrass especially from set pieces around the 18 yard box. I can see it being a tight game and the key for Norwich is to frustrate Liverpool early on and look to nick one from a set piece. Not a straight forward result and I would bet on a tight 2-1 Liverpool.

If i am honest i can see Norwich getting a point from this, don't ask me how but i have a sneaking feeling thats how it will pan out.

there is more twists and turns as yet in the relegation battle.

The bigger banana skin for Liverpool will be at Selhurst Park that will be a far bigger test! No disrepect intended but palace have always been a bogey team for Liverpool down the years!

Oh, what a pillock I am <doh>. Of course I should be grateful that you are not wumming constantly. Yes, yes, praise be to the merciful Lord for doing us the kindness of Guru not wumming for a whole three weeks. Oh thanks be to God.

Thank you all, Guru we are forever in your debt. What a magnanimous and compassionate binner scum you are. My my, I shall repent my sin of failing to be grateful enough.

Nearly as ludicrous as suggesting we should be grateful to Liverpool fans for the Heysel disaster.

I have a giggle. I have lots of giggles. I enjoy having a giggle as much as the next giggler.

The problem is, I tend not to giggle at things which are not gigglable. And your contributions are not gigglable, I'm afraid. They are positively ungigglable, in fact.

There are plenty of Ipswich posters who manage to be amusing or entertaining or intelligent - Welly, Plum, White Horse to name a few. You are just not one of them. When you transform into a gigglable little banterbus from your present state of despicable little harridan, I will welcome you with open arms. I promise you that.

    Incidentally, good post.

Just, you know, it's our thing

I for one am grateful Henderson is out - I really think he's developed into the perfect foil for Gerrard. What a difference a year makes.

Yes funny you should mention white horse, whatever happened to him? after about his 15th post he sort of disappeared, but he obviously made a huge impact in those 15 posts to you. I will have to ask SD and KOPR to look into where he is. <whistle>

tbh Rob its probably best if you ignore me and i ignore you and then we don't interfere with anybody else.

He was amusing when he posted a few times on our board. You sound jealous of his amusingness. Jealousy is a sin, Guru, and we all know how lily white you profess yourself to be...

Happy to ignore you on condition that you don't ruin decent threads and you don't make up lies about me as above. Incidentally, I'm sure you'll be honest with yourself and realise that I had completely ignored you until you addressed me. I got the impression you were pining. Jealous of the attention I was giving JWM I suppose. Which brings this post in full circle!

I'm hoping that we'll still be looking at the title and that they will be safe, if that's the case it shouldn't be as difficult as playing them with something to play for.

So lawro has us down for a 2-0 reverse. Merson has a 1-1, thinks we will get something out of the game with Henderson and prob Sturridge missing

I think Sturridge out would actually be bad for us. Him and Suarez haven't been at their peak in recent weeks, so if he is out, Suarez goes more central where I believe he prefers to be and you just know he'll recapture his form! Plus it would mean they could add more men to their midfield which is already likely to boss our's off the pitch.

    I am not confident.
