Disagree, we want an owner who we can be sure is straight talking, FFS. If he does rewrite history to fit the circumstances, we won't know what really is going on. And, hard to hold someone to account if you don't know who did what. In essence, its (apparently) down to Massimo that we played Murphy in that role and he scored both our goals........ if we had picked that formation and lost 2-0, would it have been his decision then? But its only a feeling I have about him, I might be completely wrong, we'll see. I accept its wrong to make a judgement, I am just flagging a little concern at his style. (Incidentally, it might be that they discussed the team, and this idea came out of the discussion, MC thinks he told BM to do it, BM thinks it was his idea........ happens a lot in business that several people think they made a (successful) decision........ seen it often
Good win for Barnsley, good following there too.Little no fans clubs Yeovil, nillwall and Donny to go back where they belong and their 10-50 away fans will be more appreciated.
What makes you think he took the credit for something he didn't do.McD has had all season to play Murphy in his best position and not done it.I don't for one minute think its just coincidence. To be fair not that hard to see,20,000+ have been able to see all season Hunt not up to standard but 1 person has persisted with his stubborn poor choice.
So the spins have already begun, eh...........And he has not bought back ER or TA yet. I thought he said he just had to go to the bank and it would be done.
Ken Bates said the other season when there was about 50 mid week in the SE Corner it had cost Leeds an extra £50,000.He wanted to ban them to save money but the league wouldn't let him.
This is probably why Mdermott spent the whole game arms folded resting inside the dug out to make it obvious to the fans it wasn't his team. So 2 games we have won out of 3 in 2014 he wasn't in charge of and the other (Millwall) we didn't deserve to win
Think he is spending money on finding out exactly who has spent what money and where in the last few months. Guaranteed court cases coming up and hopefully GFH and maybe even Ken get jailed for robbing Leeds United. Once all that is sorted he will sort the rest
Same rules apply to mc as to kb, judge on actions not words No problem as yet but so far we have only words
Some of them will also be the pro Haigh bunch that drooled over all the great new innovations they introduced to the club
You should all be happy with your little Italian mobster as he seems to know more about football than McDermott Cellino in
Its whats known as giving the guy a chance unlike negative numpties like you You only come out from under your stone when you want to have a go at someone or something. We will hear phuk all from you unless some **** happens and then you will appear with your usual told you so ****e.
No problem giving him a chance, but as we have a pattern of indulging in rose tinted euphoria at each change of ownership, or new announcement from a current owner, only to find out they don't deliver what they promised (or we whipped ourselves up to expect), I think its rational to have a healthy sceptism. I only speak for myself, there may be others who expect the earth in the first week. I don't expect him to buy ER and TA in April, I do expect him to do it by Christmas. I don't expect him to spend £50m on the team, I do expect him to bring in some good players in the summer, free or not I don't care. I do expect to see some momentum with the club next season. The only thing I am picking up on is what I am starting to see as a trend, where he make announcements after an event which show him in a good light. Early, but I can see a start of a pattern, I will be happy to find its not a pattern just a few isolated instances, but.... looks like it might be his style, to me. Hope not, as I don't like that style of leadership. Also, theres nothing much else to talk about, as we are effectively safe (not mathematically but, we won't go down, that's the reality), we are playing averagely at best, and nothing will happen until after end of season. So, unless you want to talk about Millwall's chances of staying up (I fear more and more they may somehow hang on with their grubby fingers to this division), there ain't much to talk about
Grubby fingers forget us lets talk about how Cellino sussed Murphy in one week when McDermott couldnt in one season
