Think about it... We have gone through loads of leaders, half the team walked away and are believed to have committed corporate sabotage, and if you look at the Premier League page we are fourth from bottom with only Tottenham, West Brom and West Ham below us <laugh>

Thats where you're wrong , strong but fair . I had the wrong opposition tonight , it was CRC , Bony won a frantic 1 -0 , it wast a spectacle for the purist for sure <whistle> but with two games left a good chance on returning to Div 1 with the two reserve sides with a good chance of promotion them selves .

PS no fisticuffs or other unsavoury incidents to report I'm afraid

I remember my boy playing you lot in a cup game some years back, he was playing for Garden village at the time, and your rent a mob, sent us away in a barrage of brick throwing! You lost the game 1-0, tried to hack every one of our players on the pitch, a Cardiff scout was present that day, but didn't hang around once he saw there was going to be very little footy, he clearly wasn't a Rugby enthusiast either!................<laugh>

Gutted by all this going on at OUR club. We are becoming a laughing stock with whats going on. The club should hang there head in shame and the board must carry the most blame putting the club in this situation.

Now I'm no Monk or Laudrup hater lover whatever you want to call it, all I want is whys best for OURclub. But how we can place the blame for this bust up at Laudrup's door beggar's belief. If he had lost the dressing room as said then what the hell is now going on.

WE as fans of Swansea City should be entitled to know what the hell is going on, after all we claim to be a fans run club. A full inquest must be done at the season end and all the facts laid out to US, as I want t know where the real blame lies.

At the moment I'm one disillusioned supporter, and can still see us going down, if we carry on in this current vein.

This is my opinion, not fact just how I see it.

Our squad was split way before Monk took over, and if I recall rightly, this was mentioned here several times before ML's departure. Our Spanish contingent seemed to sit apart from the rest of the squad. I imagine initially because of language, but it seems their aloofness was disappointingly allowed to develop and flourish into a full blown clique for which I hold the playing squad accountable, not ML or anyone else.

We can see our clique, Michu doesn't enjoy Bony, Britton is/was being sidelined for Canas, a then poor Hernandez was regularly chosen over Routledge or Dyer, Pozuello did nothing more than dance around the 18 box and Alvarez !?!?!? Poz and Alvarez, imo, appeared to be regularly selected simply to improve their game not to seriously enhance The Swans chances of points.

IMO the damage was done between summer and January. Harmony was slowly drained from the squad due to poor management; mini breaks, agent interfering in our business etc. etc. etc........ and a resentful, divided squad. What I feel fueld the resentment, forcing the cracks in our squad was ML persistently prioritising his signings whether in from or not. As a consequence, I feel, results suffered and we became too complacent, even lazy. We weren't tough enough to fight for results then, problem is we're still not now.

IMO only, Michu was/is the main target/exponent of the bitterness pervading our squad. He has achieved absolutely nothing this season except getting a rep for acting like a dick. Last years hero is definitely this years zero. Ankle injury or not, his attitude in a Swansea shirt this season has been disturbing and offensive and the sooner he's gone the better. I feel his departure would release many a tension currently straining the squad.

The squabbling and fighting will inevitably continue I feel. With the weak leadership we have in the squad and with a new management who, while trying to address the problems, are seen, by some, to be their cause, I feel the infighting is far from over. Currently half of the squad respect Monk while the other doesn't, a mirror image of Laudrup's reign. Nothing has changed, our still divided squad has simply landed on the flip side after Laudrup's exit.

I think we will squeak our way to safety come May, simply because those below us are useless. I do expect a summer of bloodletting and carnage through, it will be so interesting to see what we have when we kick off again next season.

Agree with some of that but not all. Definitely agree with worries about the future.

On the Michu front I've been worried about his mentality for ages. Screaming int he face of opponents didn't show passion for me, it showed someone deeply disturbed. He's been plagued by injury problems which are not his fault but unfortunately he's one of those emotonal heart-on-sleeve players that clearly lets matters on and off the fireld get to him

Talented but deeply flawed it seems.

I think thats probably not far off stumpy.

You would therefore think that the apparent close eye Huw likes to keep on things would have meant swapping one click for another was always going to be doomed to failiure ,especially as the guy given control has zero experience in the role.

Out of the frying pan into the fire, a totally dumb decision which i think most could see except the chairman and board.

Curing the headache by cutting off the head! like you say there is plenty of blame to share out amongst all parties Laudrup included but it is all about solving the current problem and not making it worse which appears to be the case right now.

Totally bizzare decisions made these last few months IMO.

    Make some allowances for Dragon,Matthew.

There's an epidemic of Laudrupitis rampaging across North Gower, and he was one of the first to catch it. <laugh>

    Thursday early evening 17th April.

Something very close to. 'And news of another training ground incident hampering Swansea's preparation for their game against Newcastle.'
Oh no! I thought (something like that) anticipating the worst.
Reports of players confronting each other before the team played Chelsea???? Old news?
Other titbits with the 'report', 'this time police weren't called'. 'Gary Monk was playing down reports and didn't know where the reports were coming from/ But we all know.' (REALLY).
Finally, 'There were reports of Swansea players not getting on with the Spanish players.' Then, 'The English players all get together and the Spanish players get into their clique.'
    Unsubstantiated, uncorroborated OLD news.
(Are we again in the position of camouflaging Cardiff's latest embarrassment.?
