That just reminds me and I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it elsewhere but I saw what I assume was Liam's Nanna with Leroy on the concourse on Sunday. She had a stick and was leaning against the wall, whilst Leroy was asking her if she wanted to go and find her seat.

I don't understand the mentality tbh mate, I've been to Wembley a few times with my lot and never seen anything other than people having a great time and singing their hearts out to get behind the team.

If you've got people who are kicking off at your own, then there's an issue at your club. Either that, or they're not really City supporters anyway and just day tripper plastics?

It was just people trying to stand and support mixed in with people who wanted to sit and spectate. The atmosphere in the grund was bizarre. When we scored there was less celebration around me than their normally is at the KC (and I sit in the quiet West stand). People were falling out over the standing/sitting disagreement. At our last away game at Stoke everyone stood for 90 minutes and it wasn't a problem but at Wembley there were 27,000 and they can't all be ultras so there were several issues. People expected a wonderful atmosphere and were frustrated that it couldn't happen. All we're trying to do is separate the spectators from the supporters so everyone is happy.

You might find the problem sorts itself with the lower allocation and therefore less day trippers will get the opportunity to take their flasks down for the Final.

    Flawed.

There is no distinction between the two and frankly my experience on Sunday was overshadowed by too many drunken idiots.

You don't have to be pissed to 'support' your club.

For what it's worth I think the first 45 mins and the sense of the occasion also contributed towards the weird atmosphere in our end on Sunday, being overwhelming favourites in a major semi final for the first time ever I think there was a collective nervousness amongst the fans and the teams failure to start well in the first half meant that a lot, me included, were sat nervously watching, too caught up to really get invovled and get behind the team, compered to 6 years ago against Bristol it had a totally different feel to it. Second half, when we did finally get ahead, to me it was more relief than joy at doing so and then the last 20 mins were kind of bizarre as we stroked it around easily whilst a knackered and dejected looking blades team didn't really do anything until the last minute.

At an away game this season I was verbally abused for the whole 90 minutes by a group of drunk City fans in the stadium. Not really any need for it. Stay in the pub and get pissed and watch the game on tv if you can't handle your beer and behave yourselves. It ruined my day.

    I don't get this.

I've no idea about your situation but if you're a vocal supporter who likes to stand and get behind the team then great, if not then fine. This system can only be a good thing as it separates the two and lets everyone do as they please.

The 'drunken idiot' situation is never normally a problem. People drink before watching football and they stand and make a noise. What was different about Wembley? The obvious answer is that there were a lot more fans there who aren't used to that sort of thing and were expecting something different. I didn't see anyone at Stoke who had a problem with the standing situation.

I can see both sides really , I'd prefer it if more of our fans were vocal and got behind the team but that doesn't mean you should abuse your own fans for not singing

Given that the club waited until all season pass holder applications were in before they started processing, it wouldn't have been too difficult to allocate the tickets in bulk by stands.
i.e. (As many of the east standers together, as many as the west standers together)

Clearly we do not mix well when pushed together.

That other great Yorkshire team Middlesborough may also lay claim to that title...

    ^^^^ this

We were not sure what to think and were quiet as a result. Better in 2nd half but still a bit strange.

Will be different in the final I suspect
