    Aye.

Worse, it's that we're not trying to play football. I've supported teams that tried and failed all my life.

The journey's home from the away games used to be a lot better than they are now, whereas we used to have constant chatter, there's not much to talk about now.

Needless to say the journey seems to take an awful lot longer now.

I can see the away support dropping off quite a bit if the current rubbish keeps getting served up.

It costs more for travel to the away games than it does for a ST.

At least it's just coppers to get to SJP.

Maybe the friction in the dressing room is just what's needed, get some of them out of their malaise.
A few home truths wont do any harm and it might work to our advantage, irrespective of who the manager is.
Its at times like this when the going gets tough that the players and fans can see who is up to task and who isn't.
Luckily we're not in a relegation battle, because as it stands it doesn't look as though this set of players has much bottle.

You'd think they'd have enough pride in their performance to at least break sweat for the club and the fans, but it seems for the most part that they just don't care.

What it needs is a bit backbone in the dressing room. Joey Barton would be just the person to have kicked a few a*****.
That's what we're missing, a bit of Brit steel.

Personally I think we could see a Boywer/Dyer repeat, to be honest. I think things are absolutely on the floor and a West Ham win at Arsenal tonight would be the kicker. The players just want the Summer to swallow them up - seems amazing, when you think about it - if they're playing like this, how many seriously believe they're going to be here in August? They are all well aware that the same fans will be turning up, they know they won't forget the lack of application.

I'd like to think but I don't believe this current bunch have a similar hunger in them. When the going gets tough, ours go running. I think they are more likely to get petulant on the pitch with each other. Sissoko, Mbiwa, Santon, Goufran are all very much heads down types once it starts going against them. Debuchy is a fighter. Willo and Colo are always up for it. Tiote keeps going. Anita goes missing a bit, HBA couldn't care one jot, Cisse keeps trying but is limited, Shola is just trying full stop, Remy will keep going, Dummett and Haidara shrink but they are young. Looking at it brutally, we only have 4 or 5 who are very much up for the fight. Two of them are sidelined. The rest have hearts like split peas. I don't buy it being a french thing so much because Debuchy suggests otherwise. I do agree though British players are much more likely to stand up and be counted. Its simply about finding enough that are good enough to compete (which is getting easier to be fair)
