and he stays out all weekend doing drugs rather than being with his kids A woman scorned and all that
He sure was a class act. Didn't he miss pre season for that childs birth. Didn't take him long to get over the excitement of it all eh?
Morning all (yes, I'm actually up in the morning!!!!), Brown must stay. Even if he's only a squad player filling in occasionally, he's worth it. As I recall, Warnock offered him a seriously low wage, and he eventually signed up, so no high wage to consider. I also agree that we'd have a few more points on the board if he'd played more games. It's not just his technical capablities or his effort - it's the fact that he's a leader, and we don't have many of them. For the same reason, I'd keep Pugh, for a slightly different reason - his versatility, and the fact that he gives a solid performance no matter where you play him, or how often. Not many of these guys around. Poyet as CM? Let's assume we can afford him, his club will let him go, & he wants to come to Leeds. Question is, at 20, will he be consistently good. We've had our share of young CMs that blow hot & cold (think Clayton, or even Murphy, for example). If we're pushing for promotion, can we risk inconsistency in such a key position? Doubt it. You can see the state we're in now with a gorgonzola midfield. Then again, when Browneh is playing ...
Poyet we will need to get on loan from Chelsea, maybe with a view to buy if we can! If Charlton go down he will surely be looking for a new home next term either way It was good seeing our midfielders push up in front of our strikers for the first time I can actually remember at the weekend. This suggests a change in tactics and one Murphy could thrive on as I am sure thats what got him his move from Crewe. A decent DM would give him that little more freedom.
I'm not disappointed mate, I want you to stay up. I'm saying Charlton probably would have pulled out of it by now if they had Poyet all season as theres only a few points in it. All ifs and buts but he is a cracking little player, his old man wasnt too shabby either
You speak for yourself Bucks. Much as we'd miss them on here, I'd love Charlton to stay up and Miwwawll to go down. Both ground are easy to get to, but I find drinking in the Antigallican near the valley a lot safer than walking into a pub in Deptford wearing my Leeds shirt and asking for a pint.
Drink at London bridge FFS The Valleys a wash out to often for me A close friend of mine was a Wall 'top boy' who died a couple of years ago so I've always kept an eye out for them, regardless of TC, Mighty and co reminding us that there still around!
Think whats going to send you guys down mighty, is lack of games. You're hitting a bit of form but probably three or four games too late
As far as I'm aware guys, Diego Poyet isn't on loan from Chelsea, he's with Charlton full time! I seem to have a feeling he's out of contract at the end of the season as well...
If he is out of contract , there will undoubtedly be other clubs after him. As Ive said previously, hopefully this summer well be after players others also want. I hope our last few seasons of unrest doesn't sour agents and players attitudes towards joining Leeds

Fair point Bucks. But going back from Deptford to South London still isn't that easy in said Leeds shirt. Heyho, maybe next season if the 'Wall do stay up.
Nice one, but I wonder how many players will we be "linked" with in summer. Dozens I suspect. Still, it makes a nice change
Fulham because their the most pointless team ever, they can go. Norwich for sacking Hughton at such an important stage of the season and last but not least Aston Villa, can't stand Paul Lambert so they can pish off down too.
