FA CUP FINAL: Arsenal vs Hull City The 2014 FA Cup Final will be played at Wembley on Saturday the 17th of May.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis expresses his disappointment at the number of tickets that both Arsenal and Hull City have been allocated for the FA Cup final. The Gunners received 49,000 tickets for Saturday's semi-final at Wembley Stadium after Wigan returned some of their allocation, but will receive 25,000 for the final against Hull City on Saturday, May 17. Gazidis said: "We are disappointed many of our supporters and also those of Hull City will be unable to get tickets to the cup final. "We fully understand this is the showpiece FA fixture to celebrate the game as a whole, but we also believe the loyal supporters of the competing teams deserve a greater chance to see their team play in what is one of the biggest matches of the season. The balance in the FA's allocation system is not right." I know you guys don't care, but allow me this indulgence, Portsmouth are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup! We get to play the MK Dons of women's football!
One of the few times I've seen MP really angry was when he was criticised for playing a weakened side. His point was that he had injuries and the players selected had played in the PL. He considered it to be insulting to act as if they were second stringers.
It brings a smile to my face thinking back to when I was browsing the Sunderland board a couple of months ago and seeing them all talk about how Poyet was going to be at Real Madrid in 2 seasons.
So its the final on Saturday and I dont know if its just me but I cant generate any enthusiasm whatsoever. Would like Hull to win but not sure I'm even going to watch. Sad really in years gone by it was a real highlight and eagerly awaited day.
I'll be in the local watching with my Gooner mate.... Come on Hull Sorry need to be clear on my Saturday activity that day..... I will be allowing my son to socialize with some other similarly aged children in an enclosed and safe area, while keeping my self at enough of a distance to give him some freedom, but close enough to keep an eye on him (pop out from the bar at half-time)
