This would be a great signing if we could pull this off. We would easily have the best midfield player in the PL, and one of the best in Europe. I'd be suprised though if Bayern don't just meet his wage demands themselves, as they aren't likely to be able to get a player anywhere near as good to replace him. Top players like Kroos don't grow on trees. The guy has all the tools, great passer, great tackler, and he has an eye for goal, and often scores from range. He is also one of the few players in the world that is completely 2 footed, he doesn't have a weak side. The only other player in the PL that I'd say is 2 footed is Cazorla, though Kroos is a superior player to him, and at 24 he is only likely to get better

Turns out he isn't the best PL midfielder after all, another UIR fail actually as he claimed Ozil was the best player in the league after 3 games or something. Ozil was a Real Madrid reject, they didn't want him anymore , as the had Bale, Isco, Di Maria and Jesse who can all play as a number 10. Bayern do not want to sell Kroos, but he wants to come to the PL for more money and a new challenge. He is not a reject who is surplus to requirements like Ozil was
Absolutely he would be worth a lot more if his contract wasn't getting down to it's final year. That's why we are going to have to make up for getting him reasonably cheap by paying him 260k a week. Kroos is a world class footballer, and any genuine world class player as young as 24 is worth 50 million+ with the way the market has currently gone
I don't know... the money nowadays is just crazy. He's not worth £260,000 a week even in football terms. It's insane.
I hope that f**king Woodward and Moyes have learnt their lesson. The Mata signing indicates that they may have. United are in NO position to bargain. They need the players. If they identify a player, they will be asked 10-20 million above his "true" value. They just need to f**king swallow hard and take it. When they return to the top, then they could have a better bargaining power with the agents and the players.
