Don't share the sentiments being thrown at Mbiwa. Earlier in the season he played in his proper position of CH alonside Williamson and did very well, however, sooon as it suited that numpty Pardew he threw him aside which must have shattered his confidence. He then gets played at full back , clearly not his natural position and gets slated before anyone else.
I say play him in his natural position and watch him grow into our best CB.

Definitely and it would also mean one team less for 5under1and to aim at.

What about all the clanger filled appearances at centre back though? Hull? Everton? Southampton? Cardiff?

Yeah he had good games against Spurs, Fulham and Chelsea but he's had just as many shockers there too.

Lets not forget this lad played a lot of football in France at both full back and defensive midfield as well as centre back. His versatility is one of the reasons we went for him because we didn't have back up at right back. Whilst you can sympathise somewhat on positional problems, being unable to control a football and being too thick to realise you can't kick a ball through flesh and bone is not really excuseable. His passing is embarrassing. At least with Colo all the other facets of his game were in place, he was just being bullied. With this lad there are more things missing than in place.

I really hope he can turn it around but the playing out of position excuse doesn't wash for me. He has had probably 7 or 8 games at centre half. He's been **** in more than he's been good. There has not been many more depressing sights than against Everton recently when asked to stay back as one of the two on the corner. He proceeded to rush out to try and win a ball he had no hope of winning and Barkley scored. There were things that went wrong after (Colo falling over) but it was him who put us on te back foot. Then second half he finds himself in the same situation, what does he do? The exact same thing again, it was bewildering.

Definitely not. We've had this question a few times asked by our own. Once you go down the route of hoping for defeat for your team, you have forgotten what being a supporter is. The clue is in the name. Let things take their natural course, but at least stick with the team for 90mins each weekend.

Unfortunately, our players are to busy fighting each other to concentrate on three points <wah>

Aye heard about that. Ours are all on holiday so you'll get something this weekend. I think it gets a bit blwon out of proportion. Players will always fall out from time to time, and because the adrenalin is pumping, it tends to get a bit more physical than the average job. Rugby is the same. Its the same as when there are fall outs in the dressing room after defeats like us this weekend, people jump on things and make them into something they are not.

No, I want us to win as I always do.

I can't understand anyone who says they would like us to lose, no matter what the situation is with Pardew or who the opponents are.

Sacking Pardew really won't help much unless Ashley leaves with him. Ashley is the disease, Pardew's just the symptom

Oh I could take getting beat all day long if it meant Pardew was sacked. You will most likely win anyway but sadly old Pards job will be safe. I reckon he has most of next season as well unless he has a disasterous start - and given the most likely exodus of players with hardly any signings that could be more than a likely possibility.

Shepherds are great if you don't object to being fleeced.

And then left at the knacker's yard.

It's the "if...then..." situation. If Pardew remains regardless, then I'll take the win. If it meant 100% he was sacked Saturday night, then I'll take the defeat.

The problem is it seems that Swansea could tank us by a cricket score and he'd stay in charge. We'll see what happens, but if it's the same insipid sh!t on the pitch as we've seen almost all year, then I can see a somewhat large exodus and I'm not entirely sure that even Ashley will think that's a good thing.

Well IF we win it'll be by the odd goal. Our plan usually entails some pretty pretty passing in triangles then delivering a crap ball for Bony to try and do something with. You never know we might get lucky.

The way we've been playing, it's going to take a bit of luck for us to win.

Spot on - He was brilliant at Spurs earlier in the season and had a good run of games where he was solid. What did Ashley's yes man do? Dropped him for Colo. Bollocks.
