Walking about the service station post game in my docs, braces, ben sherman , city scarf around wrist expected some **** off one or two pissed up blades but they never seem to say boo to me for some reason.

In fact one blade wanted to take my photo with him while telling his son how " he use to dress like me ". Lol

Also had a city fan make same request ....junior tigers think I'm famous .

Had to explain how hundreds use to dress the same way and also explain skinhead girls...monkey boots and two tone suites

    Lol

Leaving the stadium, Wembley way, under the underpass where the police hold the crowds back. Chant of City Til I Die from one side then Shurham Boys We Are Here from some student looking types near me. I said to one of them. 'Your not old enough to remember the Shurham End daft lad', and they all shut up.
Little lads, full of beer having a day out.

The City players stayed on the pitch celebrating with our fans for a long time but a lot of Arsenal fans stayed and applauded our players off the pitch.

Sorry, you are right but I think it's only valid for a search. In the scenario outlined the police wouldn't cuff somebody without arresting them.

Once I was in Shoreham Street in the early 1970's and some Blackburn fans came in and the whole stand rushed them immediately.

Just read this on a Sheffield United site:

"As we walked up Wembley Way a Hull fan came by a got at broadside of "****er, ****er" - and just behind him was another Hull fan who joined in. I said to the fellah - "he's one of yours you know" - he said - "I know, He's my son - and he is a right ****er!" - Made me smile."

Is that a crime in Brent? I know certain councils ban public drinking but I dont know about there.

The coppers were stopping people from drinking from cans outside the stadium when we arrived.

Can you hand over the drinks, but keep the container? Could you pass the Officer your drink once it had been processed by the liver and kidneys*?

*I've never really understood medical things, but as I'm taking/offering the piss, it's not to be taken as gospel.

Is it different if your team, such as Hull City, are in the FA Cup Final?

Yes, the police pour the contents away and I'm sure they would return the container if you really wanted it.

Tongue in cheek Pete. To save strain on the drainage system, they could pour it down the drain via an intercept that would spread the load around the area. Simply tip my head back and send it passed my teeth. I'll distribute the processed fluid later. I think that falls outside the legal definition of drinking, as set out in Best:Gascoigne v Regina.

We had to walk round the SU end to get to our train station, apart from one lad shaking our hand and wishing us we'll, we suffered unbelievable abuse from a range of blade fans, poor show really.
