I think that while there is some good value in the bottom three and what they could offer us, i think that we could get some very good players from the top teams for good prices. Here's who i think we should go for:

    Micah Richards - 4m reported
Nick Bendtner - Free, much better than what we've got i think he'll be looking to prove something
Lukasz Fabianski - Surely he'll want to be a number 1 now. If Krul goes, he'll be free. That is if he hasn't already signed for Schalke
Victor Moses - Not getting any time currently could be very good for us week in and week out
Lewis Holtby - Done well for fulham, not eriksen quality so tottenham won't rate him. Would be cheap just like Moses.

These Five stand out to me as cheap options. Surely we'll spend even less, and buy french players with no PL experience.

    Wages:

Bentner and Fabianski have been at Arsenal years and wont be on peanuts whilst Holtby and Moses both made moves to clubs that were splashing the cash (though Holtby was almost a 'free transfer' that is usually coupled with a player taking the most lucrative option). I rate Richards, Holtby and Moses but suspect they are off our pay scale - the other two I can take or leave to be fair.

Richards and Holtby. Fabianski to Schalke a done deal by all accounts. Bendtner - no. Not ever. Moses is a tricky one. Very useful and the impression left is he just needs a chance somewhere.

I can see Richards going cheaper than he would have at one time. If he goes for £4m, we'll be blown out the water on wages.

Don't think either Holtby or Moses will go on the cheap.
Moses due to go back to Chelsea - possible loan again next season, but on high wages.
Holtby due to go back to Spurs - likely to return to Schalke, but Spurs want there money back on him, otherwise loan out to another London club (his preference).

Bendtner - no way. I would rather have Shola offered another contract on triple his wages than have that complete waste of space anywhere near SJP, other than as a ball boy.

    Fabianski - done deal.

    I want:

Goalkeeper replacement for Krul should he leave Fernando Muslera, Kevin Trapp or Stephane Ruffier

    2nd choice goalkeeper Zacharie Boucher

Right back/Wing back/Right midfield Moses Adobajo

    Right back Sam Byram

    Left back Aaron Cresswell

    Centre back Micah Richards

Centre back Harry Maguire or Eric Dier

    Central midfield Will Hughes

Attacking midfield Ruben Garcia or Roberto Firmino

    Attacking midfield/Forward Nick Powell

    Wide forward Tom Ince

    Wide forward Solomon March

Wide forward Wilfred Zaha or Joel Campbell

Forwards Jordan Rhodes, Ahmed Musa, Danny Ings, Ayoze Perez

Outgoing Elliot, S Taylor, Santon, R Taylor (buggered by injuries) (possibly) Coloccini, Amalfitano, Obertan, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Remy, De Jong

How would that do you all?

Richards I would welcome, especially if our French International right-back follows his boyfriend to PSG...

Nick Bendtner??? <yikes> No way! He has proven beyond doubt that he is not good enough to play in the Premier League <ok> ...his contract is up so he was basically giving it his all for a new deal... he failed. With a fat contract under his belt, he would be the new Alan Smith.

Fabianski has settled on a move to Germany with Schalke - it's no loss really, he's really no better than Elliot.

Moses would be interesting, but not sure how motivated he is to achieve anything in the game... moves around too freely from club to club and doesn't seem bothered by sitting on the bench most of the time.

Lewis Holtby seems like a decent player but would he really add anything? Ok, he's better than Dan Gosling, but then so am I! ;)
