For Theo Walcott? I always liked Theo, think he could really do a job for us, and yet even more pace as he's a flyer, can score and link up. I think Rodgers would be able to make excellent use of his talents. How much is he worth these days? if the gooners don't make CL would he be tempted.
I think it would send some of the Arsenal supporters over the edge if another one of their best players left for one of their rivals but yeah I would like to see us sign him if the price was not crazy money.
I'd hate to see him go, he's one of our best players. Can't see it happening tbh. It'd have to be silly money, he's English and he's one of wengers favourites.
What's the tag you reckon? not that the club are even looking in that direction, but I'd be pretty happy if such a thing happened.
Based on him having stats up amongst the best wide players in the league over the last 3 seasons (including 20+ goals and almost identical stats to bale last season) And on getting like 5 goals and 4 assists in about 7 starts this season. He's really matured into a top player.
Tbh I think to sign any of wilshere Ramsey or Walcott would cost 40mil plus given the financially strong position the club are in and that they have all just signed contract extensions.
In a situation where the player is happy and the club are not keen to sell and are not in need of the cash then yeah the price will be higher. I think Arsenal would refuse an offer anyways unless it was silly money and even then would he want to leave..
No intelligence, injury prone, overpaid - I'm sure we have 1 or 2 players like that in our team already.
On the who is better argument: All I can say is, if I was offered to swap Sterling for Theo at the moment, I'd decline.
