From Afrikan Soccer """"""" AC Milan set to sign Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt permanently Posted On Monday, 14th April 2014 Taarabt is currently on loan at AC Milan AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists theyâll permanently seal a deal for Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt and Adil Rami, who are currently on loan at the Italian club. French defender Rami is on-loan from Valencia, while Taarabt arrived in January from QPR. Asked about signing Taarabt, Galliani replied: âYes, but letâs not say too much otherwise QPR will not do a discount. Same thing we expect from Valencia for Rami. âBoth players are doing well.â """"""""""""""""""""
From HITC Sport """"" The future of Queens Park Rangers owned midfielder Adel Taarabt is still unclear as he continues to impress at AC Milan. When Adel Taarabt joined AC Milan on loan in January many critics sniped at the move, but the Moroccan has silenced the doubters and is edging towards a permanent move. While Taarabt's natural talent has never been called into question, his temperament and commitment to the cause has often been lacking. However, securing a dream move to San Siro has brought out the best in Taarabt whose performances have been widely praised by the Italian press. Although he still hasn't scored a goal at San Siro, Taarabt has also won over the fans and looked in good form again as he played a full 90 minutes in Milan's 1-0 win over Catania at the weekend. In total, Taarabt has played nine games in his loan spell, scoring three times and providing two assists and Milan have made little secret that they are in talks over securing his permanent signature. The deciding factor may be whether or not the Rossoneri manage to secure a place in next season's Europa League. That objective looked nearly impossible after a dismal first half of the season but new coach Clarence Seedorf has overseen a turnaround in fortunes and Milan are now just three points shy of Parma in sixth. SEE ALSO: Taarabt: No Milan stay agreed yet If Milan do manage to book a place in Europe they will need a larger squad and have greater resources to add new recruits, so the Italian press suggest that a move for Taarabt should be completed. The loan terms reportedly set a fee of nearly £6m that Milan must pay QPR to keep Taarabt but the teams are said to be working on a compromise. They can do one, they have an agreed buy out clause, they should either pay that or not sign him although anything is possible with the idiots in charge.
£ 6 million already sounds far too low if true - discount on that, with Spurs taking 40% I believe. I hope this all b*llox.
The only negotiation we should do is a player swap. We shouldn't budge on the price. I thought the price was €6m so its even worse if they don't want to pay that.
Comets **** up for a player worth 20 million plus Good luck boy and at Milan you will become a superstar you deserve it QPR really have ****ed up here
Doing it on a consistent basis with one of the top clubs in Europe. Pity we didn't have a manager to motivate and get the most out of him.
Same goes for Remy, the prick in charge got rid of the two best attacking players we have and replaced them with utter dross with the exception of Morrison. Wed have walked this league if we had them.
We get stuck with our s**t players for years paying them £50,000 + a week for the pleasure, and sell our best players for peanuts. No wonder we are in debt, what we need is someone with financial sense to start overseeing our transfers.
AC Milan need QPR to do them a favour on price, so they can afford to sign a QPR cast off. I never thought I'd see the day for that!
El Shaarawy will be back from injury, Taarabt is now playing in his place. Don't think Milan will sign him for that reason, he'd be better off going to Spain or France.
Milan will get him, and cheap, if they want him. Unless one of the other big clubs (big, big clubs) comes in for him I can see Adel refusing to move anywhere else. Plus the Milan crowd like him and they have been fiercely critical of the club recently, they will be given something to make them happy. I'm not one who thinks Beard is rubbish, but Galliani is rock hard, and has only just started negotiating. I'd like to see him vs Levy. I've had more than full entertainment value out of Adel, if we get £1.4m for him (i.e don't make a loss. Pretty sure my sums are wrong here) that's fine. If he doesn't have a queue of clubs after him and Redknapp (if still in charge) doesn't want him back, he's not actually an asset anyway.
Remy wanted to go & we had no choice, adel fcuked himself up & didn't want to play for us & his attitude stunk, those the pricks as you put it didn't fcuk up.
Taarabt in the quote I posted a few days ago said, if I remember correctly, that "he hopes the fans (Milan) will remember him". Would seem to indicate that he knows either they won't keep him or he's destined to be a cover player for El Shaarawy. I agree, so long as we don't make a loss, let him go.
Your on something tonight mate. Remy didn't want to play in the Championship, loaning him was the only sensible move, Adel is a totally different story. Spot on imo.
Neither wanted to play for QPR. They both want CL football and we're not gonna bring them that any time soon.
Just done a bit of reading, you may well be right. Adel is a hit, but still seen as a risk (by Galliani, Seedorf and Barbara Berlusconi) only worth taking if the price is right. Kaka may be moving on in the summer, and Balotelli if he has a good World Cup and they can get some real money for him.
Agreed. The sooner we can get this whole sorry sage over, the better. But $10m as indicated in the OP would be a good price if we could get it.
