Yesterday the ticket touts at Wembley were offering Cup Final tickets for £450 - where on earth do they get them from and why aren't they stopped?
Not being a season-ticket holder I will remain hopeful but not expectant. If I cannot get one I shall head into London anyway, maybe go watch it in a pub next to Highbury.
There's an Arse blog complaining about ticket allocations: http://myarsenalopinion.blogspot.co...eed: blogspot/znHal (It's MY Arsenal Opinion)
Yes, we should get 24,000 seats so Arsenal can have 49,000. The spanner magnet ought to get his facts right as well, there were 26.5/27k there yesterday. I'm suprised there aren't articles up stating that the FA cup should just be awarded to Arsenal already so a pointless game and trip to Wembley to beat little Hull City can be avoided, saving everyone time and money.
I expect everyone with a season ticket will get one, then people who can prove they have attended at least 10-12 games(guessing) and that will be about it. We're in a far better position than the Arsenal fans, only about half their season ticket holders will get one.
Tickets are already being offered for sale on various online agencies. £295 behind the goal, £350 along the sides. That's for our end. It's £375/£425 for the Arsenal. For example
Oh dear how sad for those who waited for the Final. I feel for the ones who deserve a ticket and wont get one. Hopefully the FA will allow both clubs an extra allocation as neither allocation will be enough. In saying that the local media have said that we had sold 20k+ 26k+ 27k+ and even over 30k+ by friday. So how many did we actually sell for the game yesterday ? A correct figure would be nice to know.
There is no extra allocation available, 37,000 tickets have already gone, they can't get them back. I would think that the attendance yesterday was at the lower end of the estimates, there were a massive amount of empty seats.
Well people were warned. In saying that i was talking to a family of 8 before the game at a pub near Wembley and they said they would not be going to the Final if we made it. Reason given was the cost of it all. The Final will be very hard to follow game wise. It will be interesting to see who gets allocated / allowed to apply for the xtra 7000 of our allocation though ? I wonder how many of the 37000 already gone will appear for re-sale ? Tauts as an example maybe ?
I suppose some of the club wembley tickets might be returned? Given what happened with the semi final I may just apply for the best seats even if they are all supposed to be given to players, etc! I suppose there'll be more demand for the final but given we have a better chance of losing there would be more chance of enjoying the day yesterday!
Because both Finalists (no matter who they are) should get 30,000 each at least ? Ok, yes it is the FA's day and competition but ffs........ So will Hull City have all the neutral support @ Wembley then ? Hopefully yes.
Sorry I am feeling a bit think today. Price bands. we had 3 choices £30,£40,£50 and now there are 4. Is the £115 in the club wembley section and if so how do you apply?
