Norwich are sunk, they picked the wrong time to change manager, and they will have nothing extra for us. Suarez hattrick and 3 from other players 0-6 this one.

I hope so but I fancy they will give a bit more than just a surrender frankly, I'd take 1-0 right now

If Rodgers and Gerrard can keep the teams feet on the ground and their minds focused then we will win. Norwich will certainly give it a go so it won't be easy. But please Liverpool put the 3rd goal in the net and let my heart rest easy!!!!!!

It's all down to effort, coutinho in away games has not been that good but at home he's been great this will be key

  6. Anyone checked the odds on a Suarez hat-trick? Would I get better (by which I mean longer) odds to say he won't get a hat-trick...? <laugh>

It would break the record for a 38 game season, so best of luck to him. I think this will be a West Ham type game, very tough and nervy.

Norwich have their backs against the wall. They will be playing their hardest no doubt.

I doubt Suarez will get three... he has slowed a little lately. Fortunately others have stepped up more.

There again, if Sturridge misses the game, Suarez will play at the spearhead of attack.

1-3 is my prediction. (1-1 at half time- the last two coming in quick succession near the end).

I thought Allen was more effective than Henderson in the games against Chelsea. Sure, I'd usually pick Hendo, but Allen has seemed a little hungrier than Hendo recently.

We will certainly miss Henderson's work rate though. Definitely not a game for Coutinho to miss- he's been very hard working for us... relentless chasing down the opposition... pretty wasteful in front of goal usually (Thanks for #3 though).

We haven't done it in a while but I could see a double pivot of Gerrard and Lucas to help protect and let Suarez, Coutinho, Sterling, and (?) Moses fly on the counter.

Home or Away? I forgot to check the OP.

    Home - 12-0 Liverpool
    Away - 11-0 Liverpool.

God I hope not. I'd rather Moses fly off the end of my boot. I'd rather never see Moses wearing red again.

If Moses were a fly on my counter- I'd hit him with a fly swat.

Could happen and the team v Norwich in December suggests something like this but I am also thinking that if Rodgers goes positive an attacker like Moses or aspas could come in

    Coutinho Gerrard Allen
    Ass-pass Suarez sterling

    Or

    Lucas Gerrard Allen
    Sterling Suarez coutinho

There are cases for both.... But if lfc play like we are playing city or arsenal not west ham then well we can win in the first half

I expect Suarez to get more passes at least!!!

I think we will see the diamond:

    -----------------Migs
    Johnson--Skrtel--Sakho--Flannagan
    ---------------Gerrard
    --------Lucas---------Allen
    --------------Coutinho
    -------Sterling-----Suarez

I am really afraid of this also - but at the point now where i can make a case for us dropping points in every remaining game :)

I am certain he wont get another, tbh he not looked too good - by his own high standards, defo cracks appearing in relationship between studge and luis, also noticed sterling getting a little bit selfish of late,
However not always a bad thing just something br may need to channel.
Dont care if we win by one or six as long as we win, but hope Norwich do stay up :)

Without Sturridge, I think Suarez will play more centrally and I think the goals come back ...
