If I was on my own I would have used the bus service, but my son has a tendency to act up on busy public transport, which is all part of his autism.

I'd much rather pay out the extra in cab fares and have him arrive in a mellowed mood. What happens after that is all down to our performance... :steam:

Just seen the highlights... not entirely sure what was going on for the first goal, Poyet's called it, thus Hamer passed it to him, but Poyet has the first touch of a sex offender.

The 2nd, may have been offside but surely our players know the age old rule.... play to the whistle... they all stop and appeal apart from Wiggins and Hamer, and those two had no chance of doing anything.

3rd just a fine finish too

Think the pressure of Brighton got to Poyet. He will be better for the experience.

Oh yeah, it's like the very first mistake Poyet has done in a Charlton Shirt, or least first one that is noticeable. My biggest problem is, if it was anyone else they'd have been crucified, some people have even said Hamer was at fault for it... but then again, lots of people aren't a big fan of Hamer.

Poyet will be class, and I know we all make mistakes, but its just no one has really moaned about it

Poyet strikes me as being quite tough mentally. I'm sure he'll put his mistake behind him, unlike poor Joe Pigott who admitted in the program he is still haunted by playing so poorly against Millwall. It's the responsiblity of the senior players help the younger ones in this sort of situation, not just the manager. I remember Llera giving Harriott lots of encouragement when he first came into the team.

I was keeping up to date via the clubs twitter feed, and even they implied it was Hamer's mistake. They implied Hamer threw it to Poyet who wasn't ready. By the replays, you have to say that wasn't the case.

Anyone else think it's odd Obika didn't make the squad? I wonder if the clubs agreed to this when Brighton cut his loan short.

It seems odd how little he's played, but he does seem to be carrying a pound or two extra.
