I never believed. I didn't think we'd make top 4. I thought we'd screwed up at January, I started to doubt FSG and their motives. I didn't even think that Rodgers was necessarily the right guy for the job. I scoffed at our top 4 chances with our ridiculously leaky defence.... I thought Suarez would definitely be off and didn't think Gerrard could play the holding role without playing another defence minded midfielder. How wrong was I? I wasn't the only one, I know but it's time to fess up and take any derision due! We are a win away from securing a CL place. Get that and whatever happens it'd be a minor miracle. Win the thing and I have to eat several hats. What Rodgers has achieved has been nothing short of miraculous, regardless of where we finish from here on in. I used to cringe at some of the early stuff that he said but I now see him as a true visionary, a massive leader for us......what he's done with this squad is mind blowing. In my half glass full kinda way, I'm still expecting to be pipped to the post by a controversial decision.....or two. I fear the absence of Studge and Hendo in the run in.......and even if we don't win it, I will still be in awe of what we achieved this year. Unbelievable! YNWA

Thought from day one that Rodgers was going to get us back up there. But yeah, what we are achieving at the moment I don't think even the most fervent Rodgers advocates would have envisioned. This should be called the fess up thread and any other initial naysayers shall be directed to the necessary penance required.

It's truly amazing how far we have come since FSG took over - I believe we were a point off relegation! The transformation is truly staggering - Rodgers is actually a genius. The tactics, the versatility, the charisma ... everything.
