Sorry but this "foreign" nonsense is just that. It may have been twenty years ago but now pretty much all players do it. In my own team I've seen Gerrard do it, I've seen Rooney, Wiltshire, etc etc all "home" players. As I said before Refs encourage it by only giving decisions when the fall is exaggerated rather than starting to give penalties when they see a player fouled even if they manage to stay on their feet. The refs can control this behaviour rather than encourage it. They just need to be braver.
Tobes been back on the board for a week or two and he's already polluting every thread on the board with pointless long winded arguments where he never accepts that he's wrong even if there's actual evidence proving him wrong. And when it does happen he just starts abusing everyone who questions him.
This. Said it 100 times but until ref's start giving free kicks/penalties when players stay on their feet then players are always going to go down instead. And because the foul doesn't bring them down naturally they have to make themselves fall which look unnatural (obviously) and then leads to accusations of diving.
Rooney does it every game but #bbcsalford and the jingoistic national press won't dare accuse their hero. The best debate they dare to come up with is whether he has fulfilled his "true potential" or not, as if being a fat smoker isn't an automatic NO FFS
This is the guy who maintained for days that Paulinho shouldn't have been sent off for Spurs when he kicked Suarez in the chest because 'He hardly made contact', and insisted that Suarez dived against Villa, even though every serious commentator and analyst (even the ones who hate Liverpool like Samuel) said it was stonewall. Put him in the same class as Collymore though.

Andy Carroll got away with punching our keeper last week, so yeah you see that sort of thing a lot. Your players handle the ball a lot too, the only difference is they are picking it out of the back of the net on the way to another defeat.

they see it all the time, only time they have a problem is when we benefit from it,what does that tell you. we have been massively shafted by officials this season, but in the same breath got away with a few as well, for once for us it probably is a case of it evens itself out, #nojinx (still have chelsea to play!!!!)
