A good win. Can't wait to see it on the replay tonight.

The nice thing is it's still a "win or die" case for the boys, so they can't let up on their concentration at all. We've got Tottenham away next week, from which I expect we'll get no points. But after that, we've got a very good chance, I think, of getting four or five more points with: home against Hull, home against Crystal Palace and Stoke away (maybe we get a point there).

Norwich, on the other hand, have four tough matches ahead (Liverpool, Chelsea, ManU and Arsenal) from which it's difficult to see them getting any points, since three of the four are fighting it out for the title.

Obviously, we're two points behind Norwich, so we need to take max points from at least one games in order to survive, probably two if we want to be save; if we don't win, we're going down. Sunderland are finished, I believe, even with two games in hand. Cardiff have a reasonably easy set of final four games: Stoke, Sunderland, Newcastle and Chelsea.

No? Did you not see their result today? If we put in a good shift again we've got every chance. Admittedly it is the toughest game (on paper) in our run-in.

So happy for the team and Felix. From all that has been said it sounded a fairly poor performance but that is irrelevant, the 3 points were the only important thing today. Really pleased for rodders and a clean sheet is a huge bonus. Looks to be clicking at the right time, credit has to given to FM. Looking forward to MOTD for a change.

Who gives a sh@t about performance in a game like this. What mattered were the 3 points...

Norwich were better and deserved more, they had the chances...

    More later

It was a nervous game and we didn't play as well as recent games - but we won.

Shame Cardiff won but I feel there a few twists a turns still to come.

The cracking atmosphere at The Cottage reminded me of Thursday nights a few years back. OK, we didn't play great, but the team gave everything. The absolute need for 3 points, meant some periods of high tension on and off the pitch (fans' racing pulses not helped by short corners - why?). We can do this!

    My take of yesterday's game...

    Massive? Definitely...
    Six pointer? The definition
    Team stressed? Yes
    Pressure? Most definitely!

The pressure was evident both on and off the pitch. Performance wise not great. Definitely they played better last week. Norwich were fired up themselves as the run of fixtures is hard. Two men on the match for me, Stockdale and Diarra... Stockdale's confidence is high, Diarra is providing I the midfield what we were missing. Holtby was very good as well.

Think Richarson was not able to play as we have sen him recently due to Amorebieta not being a full back.

Amorebieta was another one who gave a hard fought battle there.

Three points is what we needed and happy with that as we got nothing out of games which we should have got more like Cardiff, Swansea, Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham to name a few!

The team should be more relaxed going into Tottenham's game. I believe Felix is going to give them a hard week of training as was not happy after the game.

    Come on you Whites!

Good in the air yesterday. His desire and commitment is exactly what we need, so no excuses for posting another picture of our hero in the game -

Hugo made Garth Crooke's team of the week. And Stockdale just got beaten to it by Marshall.

Had a welcome run of good luck recently so was particularly pleased to see Diarra in the starting line up and, most importantly, almost finishing the game- leaving on account of tiredness than injury (fingers crossed!). Along with the more positive style of play we're now seeing he is a fantastic player to come in for the last few and more than makes up for MitroWho's absence.

Stockdale's saves were immense, I had a great angle for them. Hugo's goal was well taken and he put a shift in, I prefer him not to start, and at 20 mins was imploring Felix to take him off because the ball was just bouncing off of him - but he stuck at it and got the reward.

Great atmosphere, feel good feeling around the ground after. Norwich looked deflated at the end, you'd've thought they'd just been relegated.

I quite agree. I think he quietly had a very strong game for us in front of the back four, better perhaps than Parker might have offered. I can't remember the last time we had a clean sheet; it's been that long. But the entire back line, Stockdale and Diarra were magnificent against Norwich on Saturday.
