And when it comes to red cards , that was a "Special One " ., Chico should have remained onthe pitch imo , harsh warning tops .
It was a bookable offence. The stupid idiot shouldn't be making tackles like that when on a yellow card. Maybe that will teach him to be more sensible in the future.
Agree Stereo. The fact that Poz hasn't featured at all under Monk suggests to me that there has been some sort of clash behind the scenes that has become personal. Is Canas still injured? Then you have JackPA saying that Michu left the training ground in a foul mood.
Three defenders will leave because they want out valley , not because they re not good enough , but we will need three defenders . Imagine Bony scoring that winner against Man U at Old Trafford in front of 73000 , only to watch that line up run out onto the pitch against Everton next round . Best be lookin for a new striker two because anyone that thinks Bony will start for us next season is only foolin themselves , hell want out as soon as possible when the season ends. He didnt sign on for what our board was dishing out imo .
If it wasn't for the board we would have ended up with Aspas instead of Bony. If Bony leaves, it will because somebody makes a bid we cannot turn down.
Three defenders will be out because they are not good enough, if you are you are saying they want out and want to join bigger clubs then I suggest you start watching Swans matches because there is no way a bigger club is going to go out of their way to get them... they have made far too many mistakes in games to be chased.
Can't see us keeping Bony but I'm even more worried about the rumblings behind the scenes at the Club. Pozuelo and Canas have hardly had a look-in and Monk is covering up the problems with Michu. Just my impression. This has always been my worry to be honest. Bit different when Martinez was made Manager all those years ago. We were right down in the dumps and it was us against the world. This time we've got players with egos and a Manager who has his favourites. At least that's the impression. For the life of me I can't see why Emnes wouldn't get a go instead of Ngog, and what about Lita previously? Something strange definitely happening and I don't like it one bit. I think there will be some players wanting out come end of season even if we stay up. In particular I think a few of the Spanish guys will go home.
We definitely need about 4 or 5 new players in the summer that should include two tall defenders and maybe two strikers and one defending midfielder, If you read the players report in various papers then they all say monk has improved training and the general running of the club. Everyone gets treated the same and we all know that monk is the boss now and we are all very happy and excited for monk to be the manager next season. He is not only the boss but he gets things done and he knows the club inside out, Leon goes on to say that nobody could have done better than monk and if you look beyond our results where most have been against the top sides then its plain to see the improvement in our approach towards every game, What monk has achieved is nothing short of a miracle and we are improving all the time. The club is healthy again and financially sound and top of the pile of well run clubs. Monks approach is the dead opposite of laudrups approach and we as players prefer it now. Its not all about playing that is just a small part as the majority is to do with training and the running of the club and there is nobody better than Garry from our experience in a short time with him that he is the man to take us forward, He knows his stuff and the amount of letters and e-mails he gets of top football people is unbelievable and that is without countless phone calls he gets.
Were on a course for the perfect storm of transfer requests imo , wont just be " Spanish " players either . Jenkins took a chance with trying to rid his nemesis, Laudrup , thinking the easier fixtures and players coming back from injury would be enough to carry his puppet manager to a reasonable finish , total fail on that thought Huw and it was undeserved for players and fans alike .
A lot to agree with there although I though Martinez came in when we were mid table and Kenny had run out of ideas. Reading DaiswanHuwsmate's it appears everything is wonderful behind the scenes
From the disgraceful chanting over the minutes silence - to serial cheat John Terry telling the referee to send off Flores - I came away from the Liberty stadium hoping that we are relegated. I have no desire to be in a division that contains players of the ilk of Mr Terry, who couldn't wait to boast to the press about how clever he was for getting an opposition player sent off! He has slept with the wives of his team mates and shat on many who considered him a friend! But, as far as the Special (needs) one is concerned - the end justifies the means! Really hope Liverpool win the league because if Chelsea do it will be a very sad day for football! I have lost all faith in this division - the Premier League is one that rewards cheats, with referees that sycophantically bend over backwards to appease the top four, and take advice on their decisions from serial cheats! OK - the Championship may not be the promised land, but at least it is free(ish) from the corruption of the premiership! Give me the Championship every time - the Premier League is full of cheats, thieves and scum!
Ihate the premier league , with a passion , but I want a lot of money before we go down , if we go down .Back to bargain hunting in the summer if some of our top stock leave . Players that might help keep us in the Premier , but a team where the majority will come down with us in the Championship if need be .
Agree with you completely. I wish we had a big Euro Superleague and all the big money and big egos left with it.
Well,it's the money that has created the monster. Good to see that I am not the only one to dislike the P.L.,swans. I have often described it as The Emperor's Clothes League. It's overhyped, and in the main,of poor quality, with very average players earning enormous sums. Fans',however, see it as the holy grail, and desperately want their Club to be a part of it. The media,of course, constantly big it up,and that's self serving, and what they are paid to do. I am very ambivalent about The Swans' retaining their place in this corrupt environment. Having followed the Club in the old Fourth Division,in the company of 1,700 or so die-hards,I can do so again.
The EPL is an elitist establishment, all about the haves and have nots... There are just 6 or so clubs that have the support of the board and the rest of us exist to give them a platform to excel.
I love being in the PL. I hate losing matches because we weren't good enough to win. I hate the way the board has dealt with our club this season.
OMG i cant believe some of you, There is not a club or their fans below us who would give their right arm to be where we are and some of you want us to not go higher than the lower leagues.. God i have heard it all now. As for chico's sending off then he deserved to go having already been given a yellow card and a warning, the ref was right and there is nobody else to blame than chico for that. The premiership is not perfect and in my opinion not the best league in the world but its where every club wants to be and we are fortunate that we are here and hopefully continue to be here for as long as possible. I would rather see us playing the liverpool's and the Manchester clubs than the scunthorp's and yeovil's of the football world thats for sure plus the millions that have been generated for the city because we are a premiership club. The premiership is the place to be that every other clubs are aiming for....
