With Roy at Anfield, and seeing Sterling play fantastically and awarded MOTM.

    Where should Roy play Sterling?

I would like to see Sterling play centrally in a advanced position, with either 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 for me.

That will mean not playing Wilshere I guess.

But knowing Roy, he will play him out wide most likely or on bench.

    Drop Rooney

He had #bottled every international and big club game he's played in the last 12 years

edit: except that one time he accidentally shinned the ball in agianst Man City <ok>

Yeah The fact that Rooney has scored more than double the amount that the bastad kid producing whopper has managed this season means he should be dropped in favour of him obviously.....<doh>

Let's just field the 11 highest English goal scorers then... or 10 if you insist on a keeper

Roy will play Sturridge right and Sterling left with Rooney in the middle.

I'd like Sturridge central, Sterling left or right and Roney behind.

In my opinion, the forward players should be as below. As for Sterling, he is in the starting 11 for me.

    ---------------Sturridge
    Chamerlaine---Rooney---Sterling
    -----------Barkley--Gerrard

I'd have Lallana ahead of Chamberlain. Been in far better form this year.

That is one of the possible changes, but I think Lallana is better in the middle behind the striker.
Henderson could also come in for Barkley, but I think Barkley is a bit more attack minded.

  9. Can't believe there are still some questioning whether or not he should even be on the plane. Should be starting IMO

I think the success of England will depend on how many Liverpool players could get into the first team.

Just like how Spain and Germany dominate International football as most the players come from Barca/Real and Bayern.

Henderson and Gerrard should start in midfield with Sterling and Sturridge in attack for England.

He will be starting, on current form he's one of the best players in the league. Not only that, he's improving week by week.

We could have an absolute superstar in the making here....

  12. Said this the other day. The only time England were successful the team had a lot of WHU players in it. IMO the national team should be made up with a core from one club #teamchemistry

Exactly... Also would even make a case of Flanagan starting left back for England for exact same reason.

But never would see that happening, even if he wins the league.

I agree, his strength and vision is very very good. He might be in a tight situation, but holds players off, turns them and runs away from them. Glad we've got him, still think he will leave for money one day though.

  16. I'd have Flanno at RB with Baines LB

I always think Walcott turns up for England and plays better for Country than Club. That's something that the likes of Sturridge and Sterling have yet to prove. Playing for Liverpool/any club and playing for England are two different things, especially for English footballers! But you pick players who are playing and performing, and there's no doubt Sterling deserves to be playing on that forward right side.

I liked how he spinned a City player in his own half and run past 2-3 City players before shooting

I wouldnt mind seeing England adapt a Liverpool formation with Rooney playing Suarez role and Barkley/Wilshere/Lallana playing Coutinho role.

I agree, Spain were top with Barca and Madrid players. The Germans are all Bayern and Dortmund and very good. We should be aiming for Liverpool/Everton/Southampton players this summer.
