The more I see of Bony, the more I think he'd be a very astute buy in the summer.

Also, every time I see Salah, Joe's prediction is all the more accurate.

Absolutely speed demon but lacking the end product for a top Premier League club.

No you don't. He'd be in a Chelsea shirt now if it wasn't for the Paddy mafia.

Obviously that's if we could get him, but he's as close to a young Rickie as I can imagine.

Yes I agree TSS and what he did at the end, turning his own emotion into a team rallying call was pretty inspirational. Good leadership.

Watching him for Basel I never thought a lot of him, though obviously that pace can be useful. I think he's Chelsea's new Kalou, at best.

Bony? I like him but I don't think he's got the ability to drop back and play others in like Lambert does. More likely to just stay on the shoulders of the centre backs.

Haven't seen a team fluff as many chances as Chelsea since, um, yesterday.

I agree, but can you imagine Adam playing in behind him and doing the "playing in?"

Yeah that'd work nicely but there wouldn't be much potential for mixing it up and it wouldn't help the fact that our style is a little bit predictable at times. I'd love for us to sign a really creative centre forward.

I'm with you on that. If also add 'mobile or pacey' to that criteria.

From what I've seen apparently we're going to sign a 20+ goal a season striker who has searing pace, great technical ability and creativity to also drop back and play as a no.10 whilst also has posing an aerial threat. Then we can finally stop that darn Lambert holding us back!

Here's something interesting: As FA Cup finalists, Hull will qualify for Europe if Arsenal finish in the top 4. They play each other in the league next weekend, and it's surely in Hull's best interests to lose that game...
