Will Yaya Sanogo ever score a goal for us?

Not picking on the lad, because he does try hard, but he has to be one of the most unnatural finishers I have ever seen in terms of forwards. He just never looks like scoring and is so gangly and awkward in his play. And to think that Wenger has used him against the Liverpool,Everton,Bayern and an FA Cup semi-final does beggar belief. Maybe the fact we finally signed a world class player last summer blinded me to the fact how badly we ****ed up in other areas. Going into the season with this guy and Giroud as our two main CF's was one hell of a **** up. At the start of Wenger's Wenger's reign he also signed a young French forward, who went by the name of Nicolas Anelka, a young forward that spearheaded our charge to the double in 98, and towards the end of Wenger's rein, we have Yaya Sanogo as the young French CF.

Does this sum up the drop in quality over the years?

And before anyone says he is only young, I personally think the art of finishing and scoring goals is natural and you either have it, or don't. And for me Yaya Sanogo does not have it.

:) I was called so negative and a party pooper for stating this right after we signed Ozil and nobody else. :), I saw it coming sadly, it was so ****ing obvious we needed much much much more than Ozil.

You also said we should play Chamberlain and Arteta in midfield against Chelsea away and that worked out well. <whistle>

That's interesting, I wonder if he would have taken a pen had he stayed on.

His finishing yesterday was woeful. People moan about Giroud but at least he has got a decent shot on him when he's in front of goal and I think he would have scored one of those chances that Sanogo missed earlier in the game. I know he hasn't played much, but to be honest he's not Arsenal standard by a county mile.

I know he has not proven anything, but for me Akpom looks like a far better prospect. He seems like a natural in front of goal, but the Frenchmen is a lot stronger.

Shall, I remind you that you are Hull City and we are Arsenal. You were one of the worst teams to come to the Emirates this season, and for the opening 30 mins we wiped the floor with you. Even Bendtner scored, FFS. So, please crawl back under whatever rock you came out from.

And there I was being all friendly, like. You beat us 2-0 right? Wiped the floor with us my arse, you were ****e that night and only managed to beat us on the counter in your own ****ing ground fella. Barely squeaked past Wigwam. You've got a team full of overpaid rent boys scared of their own shadows. We've got a team of vikings marauding on mushies with nowt to lose. We'll get a practice go on you slags next week though, so twt.

Haha, good one. On the counter? That's why we had nearly 70% of the ball. Like I said, even Bendtner scored against you, that should be the ultimate shame for any team. And this the Bendtner that is overweight, unmotivated and shags taxis for fun. If we are even remotely on our game, we should beat you in the final with some ease. You shipped three goals against a league one side today, ffs. Maybe we should release the Bendtner against you for the final. Anyway, this thread is about our young CF.

Fair enough, carry on chatting about young Carlton; he makes Saggers look like Drogba. Of course you *should* beat us, no-one would dispute that. But the fact is your team has **** all resolve and character, a far cry from the days of Tony Adams et al, when you had actual balls. You've a squad full of highly talented pussies, we have a squad of grafters, and I think that should be accepted as a given. But yes, you should beat us, and if you do we Hull City fans will applaud you for your efforts. And, of course, a lower half Prem club winning 5-3 in 90 minutes against a 3rd tier side is at least as good as a so-called top 4 team pipping a Championship club in penalties, so I don't know why you'd even bother bringing that up. Ta ta, now.
