Best place for beachy holiday: for family with kids <10

Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset is nice. Plus there's Hinckley Point nuclear power station just a couple of miles to the west, so it's good for catching 3 headed fish.

 

Love this idea, but our 2 are a good few years away from that kind of caper.

Mayo looks good

 

Mull as in the Isle of. Fantastic beaches and plenty to do, you can also take the kids to see Balmory - Tobermory. You could also spend a day or two in Oban before getting the ferry over.

 

Exmouth in Devon is great for the beaches and there's quite a few things to do down there. The kids love it.

 

Seaside towns are filled to the brim with *****philes.

Not sure how cheap,but Peurto Mogan Gran caneria is really nice, one road in & a lovely safe beach for the kids to use.No night clubs or theme bars.
We spent two weeks there 2012.
