All this discussion really is is a bunch of "if, what's and maybe's". It's totally pointless, we didn't get Suarez, we have to live with the consequences.
TBH Arsenal fans, they were rumors that Liverpool would of accepted £50m for Suarez. John just felt £40m was to low despite the clause and just said no to Arsenal. If Arsenal were clever, their would of bid £50m to buy him and then proceed a legal fight to Liverpool FC to get £10m back as the clause was £40m.
That's not how swing works. You don't add the two together. It's a 10 point difference not a 20 point difference.
Did you watch him yesterday? Sure wasn't at his best but he was very forward on many occasions. Probably covered the most ground too.
It wasn't brought up as a, of if we had Suarez balboa... It was about noting the differences between ourselves and Liverpool. Obviously Suarez is a big part of the difference between our teams.
You specifically said our positions would be reversed. That doesn't just mean we'd have 10 more points. That means Liverpool would lose 10 too in addition to that. You were the one who made this claim. That's a 20 point shift.
Have you ACTUALLY watched Suarez play ? He is the master of running at defenders, turning them inside out and creating chances out of nothing. With Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott and Wilshere linking up with him he would have scored as many for Arsenal as he has for Liverpool and yes one man would have made the difference.

The only reason we've gone back to tippy tappy recently is because we don't have an out. Walcott and Ramsey were driving the team forward and were the players who turned the defence around. If you had Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Arteta feeding Suarez, there would have been no need for tippy tappy, this is a defunct argument.
So in summary you don't think Suarez makes any difference, despite him scoring nearly thirty goals already in the league ?
Not forgetting his 12 assists, and his all round play He's a workhorse that even defends when needed. Far from a typical striker - brings much more to the team than simply his goals.
