You just have to look at the determination of Liverpool today, despite being second best in the 2nd half. Nothing will stop them now

When we had the league top scorer the rest of our team where playing pants lol

It is a valid point that them having a world class striker is an obvious difference between the teams ability to compete.

Coming from someone who slates giroud non stop and goes on about how it's like playing with 10 men you'd think you understood the point of a world class striker.

But of ourse you haven't thought through your view you just saw an opportunity to disagree with me and use caps lock. Clever boy.

Van Persie wasn't Suarez, he couldnt pick the ball up of the half way line and score out of nothing. His goals were nearly all tap ins

None of them are comfortable wide or can get round a man. But yes, otherwise exactly like what I said <steam>

Exactly. The rest of the Liverpool ISNT playing pants. So the difference is not just the striker.

Have you watched Ramsey this season? Lol he has been quality when played wide and always goes round his man.

Ozil is perfectly comfortable out wide and is one of the few players in our team very comfortable with the ball at his feet, regularly tricks his way to open space pAst the first man. Watch the way he carries the ball up the field during a counter attack.

And diaby is huge with skill and used to drift past his men regularly.

I agree we need an extra natural wide player, but otherwise those 3 players have all the attributes you claim no one in our team has.

yeah but he is/was still a world class striker .

What Some people are using as an excuse for our failure is.

Its funny how , one minute Giroud is good enough for us.
Then when Liverpool are knocking out results its because they have a top striker and we dont .

    flip flop flip flop

    funny , aint it.

Any excuse required to suit the situation is dished out..

The difference between Liverpool and us is that when they get the ball they are off towards the opponents goal at light speed.

We pass it around like f**king snails , headless , "i er, dunno what we are supposed to be doing " snails , while our manager looks on as if he has power at all to affect anything.

Its like watching paint dry , we had 120 minutes of dulux watching yesterday , the last 5 minutes (penalties ) were good but the first 120 , dear me.

I didn't say the only difference is the striker. Honestly the level of intellect on his forum is astonishing. Half of you can't ****ing read I'm sure of it lol

I said one of the key differences that no-one had yet mentioned (with the manager, euro football already spoken about) that seemed really obvious, was Suarez.

If you don't think it's a big difference between our teams that we have giroud up top and they have Suarez up top then your ******ed.

And it's all you giroud haters that are trying to disagree with me that Suarez is a really tucking obvious difference in our two teams... Jesus.

every one of our players is as good as Liverpools , our tactics are better , our manager is better .

The only reason they are TOP and we are 5th
They beat City and we let 6 goals in a against them .
    They beat us 5-1 .

all luck , damned bad luck.

    how that ?

Don't start mentioning intellect when the state of the grammar in your posts is barely GCSE level.

Ramsey, Ozil and Diaby (I mean, seriously, you're going to talk about Diaby?!?!?<doh>) are NOT widemen comfortable with going round players with pace and skill. They might have done it once or twice. But they're not pacy widemen.

If Suarez had come to Arsenal last summer then I'm pretty sure that our respective clubs would currently be in each other's relative positions. Losing Walcott and Ramsey had a big impact on the latter part of our season but Suarez HAS made the difference this season.

no , Suarez is PART of that equation , maybe a very big part , but tactics and determination and "mental strength " NON bottling , have played the biggest part in Liverpools wins.

    you cant buy that .

You can inspire it , you can demand it , but its not available in the shops.

So, just to be clear... You're confident Suarez would have brought about a 20 point swing all on his own, but you're also sure that we shouldn't have offered more than £40m for this 20 point swing man?

At your first line, this is an Internet forum and doesn't require perfect grammar or English. Otherwise we'd have to assume not PC enough is about 4 years old. If your able to read what is written (and unless your a ****** you can) then it is written well enough for this particular forum. If I was writing up a document for work it'd be different. Not a difficult concept to understand I'm sure you'll agree.

At your second paragraph, you listed a load of attributes and I listed 3 players who had those attributes. I even said we could use an additional natural wide man in the squad, so clearly agree with your sentiment. Why do you insist on refusing to read what your replying to?
