Gerrards header was a free header , there wasnt a city player within a mile. Thats crap defending , its not that Gerrard is soo great . But i will give you credit for your set pieces . top drawer.
In all this discussion about why liverpool are still in the title race not one mention of the most glaringly obvious difference between us and them.... Suarez. Whilst obviously pool gave a huge advantage by not being in Europe, having a 30+ goal striker has been hugely helpful for them. I still think if we had Suarez we'd be sitting top of the table still.
Nt really, city's games in hand can still put them a point behind pool with Liverpool and Chelsea still to play. Still plenty of time for twists and turns in the title race yet!
Liverpool may win this game, but have lost both Sturridge and Henderson, that could be a big blow for them.
There are many glaringly obvious differences between them and us and Suarez is only one of them. And he's not even the most obvious.
I'd love to know this long list of obvious differences between us. Baring in mind we are thinking of positive influences on the title race I'd say the two I mentioned, Suarez and no European football are two of the biggest and most obvious differences...
