Or, once in a lifetime, you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife, and think, my god, how did I get here? Letting the days go by? Letting the water flow under? Into the blue again? Yes, it will be blue again.
I thought he was by far the best player on the park, which was(certainly first half) an exciting game of football, even though the standard was pish.
Tbh I was surprised how many chances Rangers made in the first half . The fact that they didn't take any wasn't much of a surprise though . Our defence is shocking, Foster is terrible and Moshnis a bombscare .
That is the first rangers game Ive watched since, well , you know ... I was honestly truly shocked at how bad they were despite the reasonable mix of decent professionals they have on the park. Surely thats down to how they are being managed ?
This is about the 4th time i've seen them this season and it was the same again, long diagonal balls to Daly and hope he gets a knock down to a runner seem to be the standard practice.
His team selection meant that we had no width . Peralta tended to step inside and Aird was swamped without Wallace overlapping . We do end up punting balls into Daly , it's what's been happening since Daly signed . My gripe would be that although Stevie Wonder could see it isn't working McCoist continues to let them do it and hasn't got the savvy to change it . He brought Clark on and took off Aird which meant business as usual . Yet he has young Gallagher and Crawford on the bench . Ffs try something different you useless **** .
It would have been interesting to see if any difference was made by the inclusion of Wallace and Bell. Rangers played a bit of a passing game but to me it appeared all very rushed, 100 miles an hour with little in the way of finesse. You need to get rid of Black, Daly, Sheilds and Moshni. None of them kicked a ball all day, even Foster looked okay in comparison. Peralta looks solid and pretty quick but his distribution and crossing need work. Perhaps given more game time (which on that display alone he deserves) he will become a key part of the team. Black is a carthorse and Daly is about as mobile as a midget on stilts, get those two out of the team as a matter of urgency and repace them with half decent players (neither of whom will be a static totem pole to target with hopeful punts every 2 minutes) and Rangers will be far better off.
We miss MacLeod in the middle of the park . Black's distribution is ****e and his dead ball delivery is even worse yet he takes every free kick from the midfield . He looked to me as if he was trying to get himself sent off after their third goal . We should never have signed the wee bampot and I hope he ****s off in the summer although he's on a good number at Ibrox . Money for auld rope . Daly was a carthorse at Utd and he has not improved any since he joined us .
Never watched the game, but had £25 on United and £25 on them at -1. Many sherbets were had on Saturday night
