He can't play 90 minutes, and sometimes is only fully effective for less than 45. Playing him from the start means you're going to use up one substitution too early in the game, so he should be on the bench, so that Riga can use him as a tactical weapon in whatever way the game demands, or to replace Jacko when the game gets too long for him.

Tough one. I think when he starts from the beginning it helps settle the team as he is so comfortable in possession.

I wonder if the club are keeping an eye on his diet once he leaves the training ground. He appears to be a player who lacks natural fitness, but the club still have options to help him.

    The End.

We need 11 Steve Gritts for the remaining games. AA isn't one.

I was thinking yesterday....what a total crock of **** the "Super Six" have predictably turned out to be.

PP, Nego and Koc are so good they can't even get on the bench.

Reza was so poor yesterday he made you hallucinate about Spongebob.

    Thuram is a joke.

And that leaves "Big Mac and fries" AA......he has so little energy he brings to mind Pavarotti running the London Marathon.

AA drifted inside for ten mins yesterday and got on the ball a few times, but that ain't good enough for Charlton, or shouldn't be.

I am amazed that a pro athlete can't last 90 minutes. My team for Barnsley, with a bit of energy.

    Hamer
    Solly(if fit), Morrison, Dervite, Wiggins
    Wilson, Cousins, Poyet, Jackson
    Reza, Obika

Subs Phillips, Nego, Wood, AA, Sordell, Pigott, Petrucci

I did read somewhere that AA has been suffering with Flu recently but said that he wanted to play but was aware he wouldn't last the full match.

It was an absolute waste of time playing AA yesterday, and the same can be said for Jackson, Poyet and Cousins.

Riga should have played Hughes, Green and Petrucci, thus resting our key players for Tuesday.

With the exception of Reza, who I'd replace with Piggott, I agree with Dick's line-up.

Solly and Wilson down the right would be a massive boon for us.

If you're going to start a player who can only play half a game, which has been the case in 2 of the last 3, he has got to be a bit special in my book. Describing him as "a bit special" would be taking things a bit too far, so for my money he starts on the bench. If Solly really is back then that's a clincher.

That's the team! Only doubt is if Reza plays that we force him out wife. Sordell, I think, should play.

    Last paragraph

http://www.southlondon-today.co.uk/...evic: Loan players would hurt if Addicks drop

Yes from the outside as fans it looks like there is something wrong with Ajdarevic in terms of effort but how do we know its not something similar (or the start) to what Andy Hunt had (as is flu supposed to last this long)... i.e. in Hunt's case he was our best Striker (Ajdarevic is out best creative player) so had to play but it got to the stage where he was so exhausted it looked like he was playing rubbish against Coventry yet lasted long enough to score the winning goal and then was subbed never to be seen by the First-Team again

Yes I've wondered if there is a medical problem. I mentioned Vernon Sollas the boxer whose legs went about the 7th round when he was always well ahead on points, and he turned out to have a liver problem. With Astrid his legs do go quite suddenly, and I thing Rega knows this and is ready to sub him as soon as it happens.
