If they push him and Aguero to play, maybe we can benefit from them not being fully fit?

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is expected to be fit for Sunday's Premier League game at title rivals Liverpool despite leaving training early on Saturday as a precaution.

Top scorer Sergio Aguero (hamstring) is set to feature after five games out.

Not to worry, I don't think pelligrini would pull a fakey here but in reality we need to focus on us not them

Yaya and fernandiho are the keys, not kompany and aguero those two need the midfield to establish the base to go on themselves

Aguero could kill us or be muck who knows.... Kompany could go do his groin.... But if those midfielders dominate? We are still in trouble

The 24-year-old was withdrawn after 66 minutes at Anfield and will be evaluated by the Reds' medical team.

Brendan Rodgers told his post-match press conference: "We'll see [how he is] over the next couple of days.

"He felt a wee bit of tightness in his hamstring, so we'll see how that is in the next couple of days."
