Now I KNOW that its late but please don't insult me by suggesting that your performance was a pre-planned pragmatic strategy !!

 

We ain't done to bad during that time in the silverware department, just the league title eluded us.

 

I'm not suggesting the game went to plan. I highly doubt we intended to give away a penalty and go one behind. But we did what was needed to win the game and a long as we do that again in the final and lift the trophy I'll be happy

 

I really want Everton to get top four this season, not sure how they will cope with the extra games next year but love the way they are playing this year.

 

Your last cup final when you were nailed on favourite's backfired bigtime, maybe your players need attitude adjustment before the final in case they think just by turning up they've won it.

 

I like Everton and in recent years have wanted them to do well. Obviously at the moment the only way they can make top 4 is at arsenals expense so m not wishing it fora them at the moment!

Still think given the remaining fixtures that Everton will fall short though.

 

A crazy mistake at the back for a fluke goal didn't help either on that horrible horrible day.

Think some of this lot know they need to work hard to win as opposed to some of the very talented guys we had before who almost expected to win. So I don't think we will have that rpoblem this time around... Fingers crossed!

 

You have done well with your cup wins over the time (2005 was exceptional) but we are talking top four trophy versus real silverwear here, which is best?

 

Never had a prob with Arsenal only Wenger's attitude towards us, made friends with some Arsenal lads many moons ago at Anfield and used to meet up with them in London before games at Highbury.

And yet again you never bit.

 

Going on the fixture list you should make it, the boost of a cup final may lift you over the next five weeks and see you over the line

 

Well we've been in as many CL finals as Chelsea and won as many as them in our 7 seasons in the comp, so our record is better than theirs because it was achieved in less than half the time.

Tbh the silverware has been great, finals at Cardiff, Wembley, Uefa cup, but now is the time for the club to focus on reestablishing top4 status and any silverware along the way will be a bonus.

Yeah but you're old school utd mate and you knew when Fergie left their was gonna be transition, its just that fergies chosen one might just stretch the transition out for a lot longer than any of you expected.

 

Been more dissapointed with the players than the manager mate, still in the last few games they have started to look like they want to play again

Including yesterday's draw, you've only won 3 of your last 11 games in all competitions, so I've no idea why you're confident of nailing 4th.

You could be 5 points behind us with at least a 6 GD deficit by the time you next play.......

 

My money's on Everton getting 4th - I hope they do as they fully deserve it.

Plus the Moyes factor would be hilarious

 

In the end Everton now have the position and I strongly feel they are not going to give it up by freezing now

There's no cup final sobif they just play the games as a continuing run without a prize to worry about they can easily go do it

Arsenal on the other hand look like a side who have given in.... The semi was poor the games before atrocious and frankly their players need a kicking in the behind badly
