If we win the cup this season then even despite the bad results against our rivals this will still have been a good season. The more negative fans have been saying for years that they'd rather win a trophy than finish in the top four and get knocked out of the CL in the first knock out round, this might be the season that this happens. So will they be happy ?
I will be more than happy, if we win the FA Cup and lose out on the Champions League. We have qualified for this tournament 16 seasons in a row...... The anchor around our neck is 7seasons without a trophy.... Lets go out and win it now. In any event it is out of our hands whether we finish 4th or not!
I liked the look of Kallstrom for the few minutes he was on. This Arsenal team is the most unbalanced I have ever seen the fact we have skillful diddy men only works if you have a younger version of Kallstrom to come in and protect them. It shows we don't always need some super skillful slightly built french kid but a proper sized Geezer in the middle . Physical presence give the diddy men the right to play tippy tappy without a proper sized footballer in the side (midfield) we are always going to struggle against most premier sides. Any way I said we should buy Wanayama from Celtic what do I know !!

I'd want both cup and top 4, obvs. But if it came down to a choice between the two I'd rather finish 5th and win the cup than finish 4th and win nothing. My opinion.
Likewise, both would be great. But given the choice I'd take the trophy. People might say that we'd miss out on the CL revenue and it might limit our ability to attract the top players, but ending the hoodoo of our lack of silverware is really important for this club right now. If we won the cup I think it would really help Arsenal kick on next season.
Agreed and we should make every effort to go for both. Over the course of this season I have come to accept that this club has its flaws just like any other. Let's support them up until all is said and done even though we'll argue sometimes.
