I think this could prove to be his downfall. I don't think everything is down to pardew, and I don't think a lot of the names people have mentioned would do any better. However, the pressure is getting to Pards and coming out with this attack on the local press sounded like a man who is starting to feel out of control. I think MA will already be looking for the next manager but that he will allow Pardew to finish the season.

 

Horrendous one single goal in all those games.
The way things are going, we're going to become known as Newcastle Nil.

 

I don't know what's worse - the goals scored, or the fact most of these nightmares were AT HOME!!!

 

All a bit of a joke, really. Pardew claimed the players were quite good, a point which was completely contradicted by not only the rest of the world but also his own captain. Then claimed 10 players were missing. Physioroom lists 6, and includes Ryan Taylor, Sammy and Obertan. So three missing, unless you count Santon who just seemed to disappear again and, er, Cabaye?! Maybe we're still "missing" Carroll, Ba and Enrique.

 

I'm actually starting to hate him now.

I'd feel sorry for him if he took too much abuse.

 

The fans turned on him for the first time today. The 'we want Pardew out' chants were from the majority today. He needs to just go before people actually really start to hate him. He's finally lost the fans so there is no way back.

There were two lads in the crowd having a go because people were chanting 'Pardew Out'. Feel sorry for them. That's what blind faith does.

 

I don't see how he can survive now, but I don't see the point in doing it now rather than the end of the season.

 

Best time would be at the end of the season, but, the Pardew Out chants need to be now and the point made to Ashley.

 

We desperately need to finish 11th. I know, it's sacrilegious, but gotta start looking at bigger picture - if abysmal football and playing 3-5-2 doesn't get him sacked, 11th must?

 

I could never go into a game hoping we lose or not wanting us to finish as high as possible. As it stands we're no longer favourites for 9th looking at the games left. Stoke play 3 of the bottom 5 I believe.

 

We're safe so I honestly couldn't care less where we finish.

 

I know, it's a horrible thing to say. But I don't care anymore, so far has it gone. I'm not in the hardcore, I don't shell out for tickets or get on a bus, I'm not as committed as many of our unbelievable faithful. I don't get to many games at all, but I pay a little money online and, until recently, pretty much watch every match. I'll never win fan of the year, but I was born in the City and have been/will always be a Newcastle fan. However, since maybe Cardiff, though more likely Sunderland it's just been overwhelmingly embarrassing to a point of apathy where I checked the scores on my phone about 4 times today and I'm ashamed to say I was sadistically glad to see Stoke score. I just don't think I'm on my own in this dark part of the community.

 

If that was the case why would we care about how we play under pardew - as long as we're safe. It pisses me off whenever we play ****e and whenever we lose. I want to beat as many teams as possible. The club also makes more money the higher up we finish and could also be potentially more attractive to potential signings. I know that involves Ashley actually spending the money, but the more we have the more that becomes a possibility.

 

That could have been me typing that right up until the last sentence. Not having a go at you for feling like that. I even understand it. I just can't feel that way myself - even if I want to.
