Played pretty well today. Nothing in it against the 4th best team in the league. Alonso' slack of pace was exposed by the outstanding Delifeu. Wes and JOS coped very well with Lukaku and the tricky-to-pick-up Naismith. Alonso good going forward but needed help today and 4-3-3 left him exposed. Thought Wickham did well too.

AJ is a lovely footballer but his lack of pace means I don't think he can play much other than wide right in a 442.

No way we should be going down but it looks almost inevitable now.

What do people think of other scores? Fulham win best result IMO in that game. Good job WBA got pegged back!

I think this is a ridiculous assessment.

Borini was **** first half but got better. Thought Ki was good and you certainly can't fault O'Shea today. He handled one of the leagues most threatening strikers so well. Lukaku is immense but never really threatened. Poor show, Parker!

We lost but I'm please Poyet pick the right team for once. I thought we was the better team but we got no luck at the minute. if we play like that & with abit of luck then we may beat Cardiff, West brom & Swansea.

Lukaku was isolated and Everton dont look the same without Mirrales or barkley

Ki again did his "ok till he turns into a vegatble 25 yards out trick"

Borini can do one for me, over rated and thinks hes better than us.

Just me opinion but I thought we were dire and any other side in the league would have beaten everton today.

I agree with you about Borini & Ki but the problem is who would we play pal? today Everton played like they did at Fulham & won so I don't agree with your last bit.

Yeah it's all about opinions and I can see what u mean sorry for calling it ridiculous! Borini played much better second half and he's the only quick player we have so Gus has to leave him on for 90mins every game. He may be tiring.

Re Ki I love his quality on the ball but he can't play a killer ball with so little movement up front when the defence is as good as Everton's.

Wasn't impressed with Everton (bar the excellent Delofeu) and I'm disappointed we didn't get what I feel was a deserved result today

Baz we definitely looked better with 4 at the back. I think your issue with Gus playing the formation the players want stemmed from misinterpretation in the media. I watched his interview this morning (think it's the one you read about) but he was saying players felt comfortable in it, not that they had asked to play it. He knows what he's doing I think mate.

I thought Borini and Ki worked hard today, Though Borini's passing was atrocious. They were the ones who contributed most of our shots and they put a defensive shift in Many a time Ki ran beyond Connor to press the keeper because Connor didn't seemed bothered.

Tim Howard is a **** shot stopper, he's spiller and always has been. What I want to know is why nobody was onto him quicker? Connor was nowhere near it every time and he was our striker today. Can we have a striker with some instinct please?

Next season we need a striker who'll commit on the off chance, who'll press defenders and goalkeepers to try and force mistakes, to anticipate the cross and commit to it even if means colliding with the post. I want a striker who'll do his homework so he knows his opponents and their weakness. We have nothing that vaguely resembles a striker at this club. :(

Borini is definitely the hardest worker in our team, he plays with a lot of heart. Not sure why he gave you that impression!

I thought Cattermole had one of his best games in a Sunderland shirt mate, he covered every blade of grass yesterday.

You were doing fine until you wrote this mate, we matched Everton in every department apart from luck yesterday. How many serious saves did Manone have to make? none mate and Everton have taken a lot of teams to the cleaners this season.

I thought you were a bit unlucky yesterday lads, you were worth a point imo

Always liked Sunderland so I hope you can somehow pull off a miracle, but if not, then I'm sure you'll bounce straight back.

    Good luck <ok>

Yeaterday he looked like he wanted it. Monday against spurs he did nothing. Or less! No heart and no workrate. If he's going tone "that" player that only puts a shifting against clubs which are around or rivals to.his parent club then great for the next few games but not for us as a team
