Yeah. If we're going to win it, can we at least win with some style, rather than looking awkward throughout the game.
I dont care if we get roasted by Hull for 120 mins and then sneak a lucky set piece, just please, anything but penalties
Yeah it was a crap performance. Although we were a bit unlucky not to score again in the second half. We're through though and that's all that counts now. We are in the final of a major trophy and we've got a chance to get our hands on some shiny silverware. The problems that have plagued us this season still need addressing in the summer, but a cup win will give our club a massive boost and a huge shot of confidence going into the summer.
Winning a trophy will lift a massive burden off this club. Don't underestimate the importance of a trophy to this Arsenal side. I think if we win it, we'll see a marked improvement in our winning mentality. I don't care what fans of other clubs say, if we win something, this season will have been a success.
Flamini and Kos should be back so they can slot in. Giroud and Podolski didn't play 90 minutes and Kimmy K might play. Yeah there will be some tired legs but we have to use this momentum to beat WHU.
That is a problem, we only have one day off then straight back into training for a game the day after. At least we don't have to travel up to somewhere like Sunderland though.
Rozza should be. Yeah I'd play Jenks too. Chez Jenks BFG Kos Gibbs Kimmy K. Flamini Rozza Oxo Giroud Pod
Really shouldn't be playing again so soon, he looked destroyed. No sure there's any kind of alternative though,
Agreed I think we need to rest a few players for the West Ham game. Players like OXO, Sagna, Ramsey, Cazorla etc all ran their socks off, OXO in particular look knackered at the end. But boy did he have a good game. I also thought Sanogo had a good game and he gave Wigan plenty of problems with his pace.
Interesting you mention that. They scored every one and our GK saved a couple too. I'd say that showed great mental 'stengs'
When you win a game, even on penalties, it is never a crap performance, least of all a semi-final. Nerve-racking, yes; Not a great game, yes; But we have seen so often in the FA cup that form and status mean nothing - A win is a win, no matter how you get it.
That's spurs liverpool Everton and now the current fa cup holders who put out city beaten. One game to go. What a cup run.
