When Kallstrom scored that second penalty I knew we would do it. Hats off to Fabianski he stepped up when it mattered. Oxo faded near the end but he was dangerous. Sanogo did decent and BFG redeemed himself. Ramsey covered an unreal amount of ground and while not back to his best still good that he got 114 minutes. We looked far more dangerous in a 4-4-2 with Giroud as the target man and Sanogo making runs.
Poor game, bad result, great outcome, that's my take. I'm chuffed that we've made the final, but the game was crap, and going to Penalties (which i called in the predictions thread BTW) against a championship side wasn't great. Still, bring on Hull, we can whack those Northern bastards.
Love the fact that other teams fans are taking the p... out of us celebrating our semi final win, particularly those who are L'pool fans. I mean it's not like we had to face Cardiff in a final and beat them after about 146 penalties each, isn't it?
