I'd be interested in you providing the full case citation please? Through my law school I can access several legal databases and would love to see the actualities of this rumour. If it was eventually reported obviously. It's rather unlikely that publication of Gerrard's name or his fathers as a witness would be allowed if there was a tangible threat to his safety or his children etc. A case citation is 'R v Brown (1994) 1 AC 212' and so on. All I can see on Steven Gerrard's dad is this story from 2008.
Bahaha good one. I mean we've got precedent covering up our players growing up supporting Everton like Carra and Fowler haven't we? You moron. You show your total ignorance to the area and the way both clubs are reflected in family support. It's not like London you plastic chav.
You grew up as a Liverpool fan but was there any pressure on supporting Everton? Yes, there was slight pressure. My mom‘s brother is a big Everton fan and he had 2-3 season tickets when we were younger and he used to take me to a few of the Everton games and try to persuade me to be an Everton fan, but I always had my dad and my brother when I come home to make sure I had edged back towards Liverpool. When I was invited to have a trial at Liverpool I got my first Liverpool kit and I was going to the Centre of Excellence and being trained by the likes of Steve Heighway and the other coaches. I always knew it was going to be Liverpool http://www.lfchistory.net/Articles/Article/2721
Reports that death threats were the key factor are considered laughable by Bluebell residents who insist that "they look after their own". They were not taken seriously and were dismissed by police. John Kendall, a Bluebell resident who knows the Gerrard family, said: "The Gerrards are well known and popular members of the Huyton community. If anybody threatened them then I would have liked to have met them. There are a lot of big, important families in Huyton and they would not have allowed any harm to come to the Gerrards. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/why-gerrard-did-not-sign-for-chelsea-7187920.html I'm from two dogz fightin meself and can confirm if any nob 'ead tried to do Stevie in there'd be comebacks big time.
I don't forget matey. Same as Gerrard. He's an absolute legend but I will always see Carra as more loyal. Either way Suarez is still here and scoring goals. What are you supposed to do?
Of course he's loyal, he stayed with the club you dimwit. At least he didn't hold the club to ransom twice like your Scouser
Maybe so but there was never even a murmour from him. We offered him a contract and he'd sign it. Your attempts at winding me up are failing Mr Chav
He's Liverpool through and through mate. They know he'd never leave. Can you imagine Terry ever leaving? I doubt there have been many bids for him. Bar some rumours from Inter, I don't recall much speculation from Lampard either.
City came in with a massive package for Terry. Sure he would have considered the huge pay packet. Who is more loyal? The player who's head is turned and stays: Gerrard, Terry. Or the player who no other club is interested in, so his loyalty is never tested?
