Frustrating equaliser from millwall. Our goal difference is so close to that of the teams above us, but as Captain said it has taken a pounding and is as good as a point if we protect it. Shame we copped a few hammerings recently.

    G'night lads

Crazy to think if we win on Tuesday we will jump up to 18th! Barnsley have been decent away from home though - can't remember the last time we had a game of this much importance.

    Just arrived back.

One of the worst performances of the season. Absolute dross. First goal like something out of keystone kops courtesy of Clown Hamer. They were quicker , fitter and better than us.

Only.positives - Solly came on and our 1800 support were excellent. Ironic cheers second half when we got in their half..and then passed it backwards to Hamer.

Harriott is one terrible decision maker for a footballer.
    Reza made Sordell look committed.
And....FGB will like this....Astrit was subbed at half time LOL !!!!

Horrendous parking at their ground and all in all a piss poor day out.

    Strange comment Doc ?

Stephens was anonymous. He got a clap from our fans.

Best part of the afternoon was at 3pm when they playedYoull Never Walk Alone .

Under Riga 5 games on Saturdays, 0 goals scored, 10 conceded, 1 point.

On Tuesdays 4 games, 6 scored, 2 conceded, 12 points.

No chance of anything today unfortunately, we'll beat Barnsley though so it's fine.

Blimey. Did not know that stat.

No real excuses today. Beaten by a much better team. Still think it will go to the Blackpool game.

Hamer must have argued with our entire team at some point today.

I noticed against Yeovil that his legs do suddenly just go, I think it was after 70-odd minutes then, Riga knows it and subbed him straight away. In the previous game they went around half-time, Riga gave him a few minutes before putting him out of his misery. He must be the only player I've seen who has his cameos at the beginning of the game.

    What about the Huddersfield point?

Yeah, it was an abysmal showing today. Riga should have played some of the fringe players and saved the likes of Jackson, Poyet and Cousins for Tuesday.

The interior of Brighton's ground is terrific, but getting to the place is a ruddy nightmare. Still, me and the little PEA had lovely cod and chips at Seaford.

I'm not going to make the Barnsley and Bolton matches. :emoticon-0106-cryin I'll be in Norway.

PEA & V-a-v: how did Solly look? Was he still OK at the end?

Looked his usual solid self when he came on. Wilson was pushed up in front of him. Got a big cheer from our end.

Agree with you about the nightmare. I was warned it was crap so arrived at the Amex in plenty of time. Car park behind the South Stand 90% empty. University car park to the left not full. Offered the steward a tenner to let me in there. Declined. Conversation then as follows...

"You need the park and ride"

    "How do I get there?"

"Turn round, drive 8 miles back to Brighton on the a23, turn off, go into Brighton town centre, turn right, turn left, go under viaduct, turn left, turn right. There is a car park"

    "How long will that take?"

    "45 minutes"

:emoticon-0102-bigsm Now that is a nightmare, Vol.

The little PEA and I arrived at about 1pm and it was already evident there would be problems with parking, despite the fact that the car parks were empty and most fans were arriving on foot or by bus. Anyway, we made our way back out of the area and parked behind the Harvey's brewery in Lewes, and then jumped in a cab to the ground, which took roughly ten minutes and cost £8.

Having Solly back is a massive boost and he rightly got a super reception.

Apparently there were some rucks in our end...?

After our chippy supper we visited the Long Man of Wilmington, but it was getting dark and I trod in some humungous cow dung. :emoticon-0120-doh:

The match ticket covered the cost of local public transport. don't know if that was made clear as I went with my brother who lives down that way & organised the tickets. We left just before their 3rd goal & grabbed a local bus. The transport is a joke. no extra trains (how we got there) or buses are laid on for match day. Oh & the game itself was poor as well
