    This is the first large Pardew out protest though isn't it (if it happens)? To be fair it's not just fans of our club that do this, or only English fans. It's football wide. Fans care and if a large enough number are unhappy about something then they will make that known. It's that or a mute, passionless crowd. I think the problem is with the perception of those Sky try to talk with - they don't really aim for the fans with the highest IQ and we end up seeing the messy and misspelled bedsheet banners and listening to interviews with the entire cast of Geordie Shore who for some reason were found hanging around outside the gates of St James' Park. It's inherently embarrassing and depressing.

    You honestly think he will walk or Mike will sack him over some masks? Hmm I'm just not seeing it.

    The only ones who suffer at our club from these types of protests are the fans embarrassing themselves and the players. Lets face it the players are playing like a load of chickens/surrender monkeys/yellow belly's, but I don't see anyone protesting against them. I just fear the usual embarrassment will ensue.

    442 diamond surely? Glad Mbiwa is out of the team.

    Poor selection for me. I'd have played HBA at head of diamond even he'd have left us exposed. We need to try and fatten the goose for sale. Aside from that Armstrong I'd have liked to have seen start. Not ideal when we are playing so **** but nothing to learn from Shola. I'd have maybe tried Bigi instead of Gosling too.
