Well here we are folks! Just five games to go and the mighty Blue and White Army are within touching distance of the play-offs! A very good performance on Tuesday night has dragged us right back into the reckoning! I really fancy us to give Donny a right good doing but then again this is our beloved Town we are talking about and we never do things the easy way. The perfect scenario come 5 to 5 on Saturday afternoon will be for a thumping 4 goal win, Readling Brighton and Bournemouth all losing and of course Fulham also winning! Lets get Portman Road rocking! Town 4 - 0 Doncaster Murphs 2 Williams Berra Att: 19,561 COYB
1-1 smith.........people will then claim it's all over, only to then back track after we win the following two games.
Edge of the seat 2-1 to us. We'll score first, they will hit back at us within ten minutes and then Tommy will score with his right foot from a Berra flick on in the 88th minute to send the fans nuts. Murphy with the first on 23. Attendance 16582
3-0....but should have scored 6! And we will live to rue the day....and just miss out on 6th by 1 goal!!!
Have you been polishing your crystal ball?! That's one hell of an exact prediction! Get a bet on now!
Yawn. This is probably the easiest game we have left. it's Bournemouth and Burnley where we have to prove ourselves and if we drop points in any others that is going to make it impossible. Reading have a really tough run in so will probably drop away but it's Bournemouth we have to keep pace with. And this weekend we will do. 2-1 Town - Williams and Chambers.
Well again it's s*** or bust. Billy Sharp ending our season does seem like it has a ring to it sadly! However, lets be positive and go 2-1 town. Perhaps not pretty but I honestly couldn't give a toss. 5 games to go, 2 points off the play offs I'll take that thank you very much! The Bournemouth / Watford double header looks tough though - but I'll think about that after this game. Att - 22.500 - We have the special offer where we've given away 12000 tickets to kids, and going on the website there are loads of areas almost sold out. May have perhaps more which is a lot more like it.
Forgot about the 12000 freeeeeeebieeeees, change att to 22,321 Just read this on twtd Town are expecting a crowd close to 20,000 with local schools having taken 3,000 of the 12,000 tickets they were offered for the match. Thats poor, only 3000 being taken!!
Get the **** in!!!!!!!!!!!! Murphy has really stepped up in Didsy's absence, he must be scoring at least a goal every three games. If he ends up on fifteen goals or more that's a good return for what you would consider the second striker. Well done Daryl
